Liam Graves was the first to turn the doorknob. He raised a hand and gestured to Vizet. "Mr. Lovegood, please! I'll see you out!"
When Vizet left the interview room, quite a few Aurors and Hit Wizards turned to look over, their expressions carrying a hint of eagerness.
But when they saw Liam Graves following behind Vizet, they quickly turned back around, focused their attention on the suspects, and continued their interrogations.
Just as Vizet had left the Auror Office, an obvious rumbling sounded from inside it.
Magical fluctuations rippled out immediately, but they lasted only an instant before quietly dissipating, as if they had never appeared.
Then came dull collision sounds, followed one after another by the grating screech of twisting metal, mixed with cries of alarm.
"What's wrong with this wall?"
"I'm hitting the wall... the wall's hitting me!"
"Help! Your walls are attacking me!"
Hearing that string of voices ring out at the same time, Liam Graves's expression changed. He swiftly gripped his wand, turned around, and searched for the place where the magical fluctuations had rippled out.
Several Aurors reacted extremely quickly as well. They raised their wands one after another and aimed them at the place where the magical fluctuations had appeared.
The source of the magical fluctuations was none other than the expanded space used to hold the suspects.
Liam Graves and the Aurors saw the same sight: the expanded space was shrinking at a visible speed.
Not only that, but the iron bars partitioning the expanded space were now twisting and warping violently.
The iron bars let out piercing, shrill creaks, like out-of-control octopus tentacles, piercing through the bodies of dozens of suspects one after another.
