"This is perfect!" Sirius Black grinned, drew his Wand, and gave it a sharp wave. A burst of sparks shot from the tip.
The sparks exploded at the werewolf's feet with a crisp crackle.
The werewolf was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. Whimpering, it leaped a huge step back, then scrambled and rolled behind a "Werewolf Wizard" and hugged that "Werewolf Wizard's" thigh.
It was surrounded by "Werewolf Wizards," and that seemed to reassure it a great deal. It did not move again, only poked out half its head and stared at Sirius Black with eyes full of terror.
"How strange!" Seeing the werewolf's reaction, the amused smile on Sirius Black's face deepened, as if he had discovered some interesting Magical Artifact.
"Look at it! It seems terrified of us, but... it also seems to understand nothing at all. If it's already that scared, why doesn't it just run far away right now?"
Vizet explained, "Because what I preserved was only Fenrir Greyback's fear."
"In other words..." Sirius Black's curiosity was thoroughly ignited. "None of those cunning, cruel thoughts... were left?"
"Yes." Vizet nodded slightly. "In fact, it has already made the choice to run away. It simply did not run far enough."
"So there's actually something like this..." Sirius Black stared straight at the werewolf, his tone full of interest. "How fascinating..."
