"At least four or five years?" Michael shook the Pumpkin Juice in his hand. "How did you arrive at that time frame?"
"Could it be..." He seemed to have thought of something. "From when you brewed the Soul Soothing Potion... all the way until now?"
"Exactly!" Vizet nodded. "From then until now, it's been roughly that long."
"Only four or five years have passed?!" Michael's eyes widened sharply. "Why does it feel like... more than ten years have gone by?"
"Then congratulations!" Anthony patted Michael on the shoulder. "You failed your O.W.L. Exams every time, so you've been held back at Hogwarts for over a decade."
"Get lost!" Michael twisted his shoulder, shaking Anthony's hand off. "That's impossible! I'll definitely pass my O.W.L. Exams this time!"
"What I mean is... we've experienced far too much over these years! Especially in the last two years—or rather, just this year. Look at how much the Magical World has changed!"
"I really agree with that." Chris nodded and let out a long sigh. "Really, things have changed far too fast. So fast it's almost hard to catch your breath."
"When Anthony read the newspaper to us before, I had a similar feeling... How did so many things suddenly happen? Could there really be so much overlap between us and Muggles?"
"I even thought about finding some books about Muggles in the library. Once we start interacting with Muggles more frequently, they should come in handy."
"I don't think the books in the library... would be much use," Terry said. "Think about it—the Statute of Secrecy has been in place for so long. Those books are already hopelessly outdated!"
"Didn't Neville have a copy of An Overview of Muggles? I think what's in that book would be more useful than the books you'd find.
