After leaving the tent, Michael quickened his pace, passed the examiner assigned to him, and looked around as though searching for something.
The first person he wanted to find was Vizet, so he could tell him about hearing Phoenix's song during the exam and ask how Vizet had done.
It was not because he wanted to compare their scores. After all, he knew perfectly well that comparing scores with Vizet was meaningless.
That was not comparison—it was asking for trouble.
He was simply curious about how long someone of Vizet's magical ability would need to pass the exam, and how Vizet would handle that "Bonus Question b)."
With that in mind, he asked the examiner, "Sir, after we finish the exam, do we leave directly... or will we gather up and leave together?"
The examiner replied, "Just like yesterday, once candidates finish their exams, Ministry of Magic staff will guide them out of here."
Michael nodded, the corners of his mouth turning downward as his tone took on a hint of disappointment. "I see..."
"What's wrong? Are you worried you were the last one out?" The examiner seemed to think of something and raised a hand to point into the distance.
"Just look over there! Ten candidates are taking the exam. Once they finish and leave, the examiners gather over there."
"Right now..." He counted the examiners. "There are still four candidates taking the exam. You're not the slowest."
"There are still four classmates who haven't come out?" Michael blinked and muttered softly, "Sixth place... that's not bad!"
"Since the exam is over, relax properly!" The examiner turned and lifted his chin in indication. "You can leave from there. Ministry of Magic staff will guide you."
With that, the examiner headed toward his colleagues in the distance.
