Odin seemed to sense something unusual and gave a puzzled hum.
He closed his eyes, focused his attention, and reached his hand a little farther forward to investigate what was strange within the sphere of light.
"Vizet, was this your..." He opened his eyes, his gaze flickering as though searching for the right word. "Deliberate doing?"
"Yes," Vizet admitted. "The gift I offer naturally comes with standards for receiving it."
Odin pursed his lips and stared at the dazzling sphere of multicolored light, as if reassessing the will hidden within it.
"Explore the world gently..." he sighed with feeling. "So that's how it is?"
"You've walked this path yourself, so you don't merely want to hand over the Fire Seed. You also want to pass on a way of seeing the world through it."
"If it were only this world, it would be far too small..." Vizet looked up at the night sky, as though he could see somewhere much farther beyond it.
"Outside this world lies a universe so vast it may have no boundaries. No matter which direction one sets out in, it seems it could be called progress."
"But perhaps precisely because of that, it becomes easier for people to lose their way and no longer know where they truly want to go."
"The universe?" Odin also lifted his head, gazing thoughtfully at the night sky. "Vizet, are you saying that when the outside world becomes too vast, many things within our understanding lose their meaning?"
"Yes!" Vizet answered firmly. "That is why I would rather give a direction and motivation for moving forward based on oneself."
