The series of disasters surrounding the arrival of The Master had been like a torrential downpour upon the world.
After the heavy rain, the skies naturally cleared.
Busybody types like Rita Skeeter had eagerly awaited a fierce conflict between the Muggle World and the Magical World.
But in Vizet's view, clear skies after rain were only natural. After a disaster, the most important thing was to recover and rebuild.
And so, the world began to recuperate. Wizards' homes filled with all manner of Muggle creations, while traces of magic began to appear throughout Muggles' daily lives.
A new academic year arrived at Hogwarts. Autumn gave way to winter, and it was once again time to sign the list of students staying at school.
After dinner, Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat in the Common Room.
Harry and Ron were playing Wizard's Chess, while Hermione had her head buried in A Study of Wizard–Muggle Social Relations.
It was a new book that had only arrived at Hogwarts before Halloween, jointly published by Muggle and Wizard scholars. Supposedly, it had sold quite well in both the Magical World and the Muggle World.
With a series of hoots, a long-eared owl circled above Harry's head and dropped a letter.
Harry's eyes widened at the name on the envelope. "Uncle Vernon?"
Ron's eyes widened as well as he watched Harry open it. "They actually... took the initiative to write to you at a time like this? Don't tell me they want you to go back for Christmas? Has Merlin started using a musket?"
"It seems they've changed too..." Hermione looked up and closed the thick copy of A Study of Wizard–Muggle Social Relations. "Magic is unavoidable now. I suppose they're learning to accept it little by little."
"That really is strange enough to rival Snape..."
