Sectumsempra Curse
Walking through this mountain tunnel is like walking through a desolate, chaotic Mass Grave.
Beneath his feet lay countless fragments of bones, and behind him, the faint sounds of pipes echoed.
Occasionally, the pipes would exhale gusts of wind, first chilling the back, then whistling past as if it were not wind, but the sighs of the skeletons on the ground.
The cave was very dark, so for safety, Wizet cast Night Vision Spell on herself to avoid stepping on any potholes and causing unnecessary trouble.
Now, with Dumbledore the way Snape bringing up the rear, they continue their journey through the cave tunnels.
"Wait a minute!" Dumbledore suddenly stopped and whispered.
Wizet looked ahead and saw the outline of a colossal creature in the distance, which looked like a Giant Serpent.
Dumbledore raised his wand, and a rustling sound came from the ground.
Wizet looked down at the ground and saw a fat rat, which was now nimbly weaving among the skeletons, rushing quickly toward the enormous creature in the distance.
"It's just a snake's shed skin. Let's go take a look!" Dumbledore's voice returned to normal, and he continued to walk at the front.
This is, to put it simply, the largest snake molt that Wizet has ever seen in person, measuring at least five meters in length.
Dumbledore pulled something out of his pocket—a small silver object shaped like a lighter, and even its usage was identical.
He flicked open the lid of the small silver object, and with a "click," a bluish ball of light appeared.
The ball of light seemed to possess a life force, pulsating powerfully and radiating a bright light.
Bathed in light, the snake's molted skin displayed a vibrant green color and intricate patterns, making it appear extremely dazzling.
"This is the Basilisk," Wizet said quickly, recalling the clues she had noted down earlier—the swarms of spiders crawling out of the window.
"I saw the spiders fleeing the castle before, but I haven't had time to study it carefully yet... The Basilisk is the spiders' natural enemy; only it can make those spiders flee the castle."
"The Basilisk ..." Dumbledore stroked his beard. "Looks like we're lucky...we didn't run into the Basilisk directly, otherwise it would have been a bit troublesome."
Snape stepped forward, examined the slough carefully, and said, "Good quality... much better than the African Tree Snake Skin Fragment. Wizet, break it down."
"Alright!" Wizet stepped forward and, as if handling any material, Cutting Curse on the snake slough, "Riddikulus!"
The snake shed its skin with a dull sound, but only left streaks of white marks.
The Basilisk is a dangerous creature of XXXXX Level, and unlike most Magical creature, it was bred by Dark Wizard.
Since it is cultivated, certain characteristics will naturally be optimized, so the Basilisk has extremely strong resistance to magic, possibly even surpassing the scales of the Fire Dragon.
Wizet looked at the snake molt before him and began to think of a solution.
Ancient Magic: Improved Cutting Curse (Beginner) should be considered the optimal solution, but he couldn't be sure whether any changes would occur once the Ancient Magic Power came into contact with the sloughed snake.
Just like the Mandrake he was taking care of, it seemed to be quite well-behaved, never making a fuss or fuss when he was repotted, remaining quiet throughout the entire process.
Snape's goal was clear: to replace the African Tree Snake Skin Fragment with snake molts. Therefore, avoiding accidents as much as possible was the optimal solution.
Based on his research on "Ancient Magic: Improved Cutting Curse (Beginner)," he attempted to combine its characteristics to enhance the penetrating power of the Cutting Curse.
Furthermore, by "freely" casting Cutting Curse and adjusting the power of magic, the two can be combined to increase penetrability and enhance the power of magic...
Having made up her mind, Wizet raised her wand again and slowly swung it, her wrist flicking slightly as she did so. "Riddikulus!"
Laugh!
With a soft, seemingly continuous yet crisp sound, a straight cut appeared on the snake's shed skin.
"An interesting technique..." Dumbledore stroked his beard. "Although it's just one incantation, he performs multiple spells by adjusting his hand gestures..."
"He also controlled the speed of the magic to ensure that the snakeskin could be hit at the same time..." He looked at Snape, "It seems he's done a lot of work for you."
"That was me helping him gain experience, it was a learning process." Snape curled his lip. "What are you going to say?"
Dumbledore smiled, his eyes gleaming with the cunning of an old fox. "Just as the spell says, the Cutting Curse emphasizes a relatively gentle division... it stresses control and precision..."
"In my opinion, he has mastered the control and precision of the Cutting Curse to the extreme... Perhaps he could take it a step further and learn some more effortless methods. What do you think?"
"Heh!" Snape chuckled coldly. "Ah... the terminator of the Wizarding World War... the only person the Dark Lord feared..."
"Could I interpret this as Headmaster Dumbledore known for fighting against Dark Wizard, wanting me to teach students to use Dark Magic?"
"That's right, it's a pity you've graduated, so I can't give Slytherin three points." Dumbledore nodded. "Besides, Wizet seemed to have some different views on Dark Magic back then."
"Very well..." Snape narrowed his eyes, walked over to Wizet and said, "Stop! How long do you plan to stay here? Do you need me to prepare a bed for you to sleep in?"
Wizet put down her wand, her eyes bright, and a notebook appeared in her hand.
"Hmm..." Dumbledore unwrapped a Lemon Sherbet, popped the candy into his mouth, raised his wand and conjured a fat mouse, which then headed toward the unknown.
"I'll only say it once." Snape looked at Dumbledore's leisurely demeanor with a disdainful expression. "First, repeat after me the incantation... Sectumsempra!"
Wizet pressed her wand against her temple, casting Mental Magic to review the incantation. Only after ensuring she was familiar with the tone, mouth shape, and pronunciation did she begin to chant. "Sectumsempra!"
"Don't forget the 'control' and 'precision' of the Cutting Curse. I'll only explain it once more," Snape said in a deep voice.
"Focus your attention, gather all your magic into one point, and then extend it outwards from that point, expanding it into a line..."
Wizet listened and took notes. The principle of the Sectumsempra was similar to that in "Ancient Magic: Improved Cutting Curse (Beginner)". Even though Snape explained it in a relatively brief way, he could still understand it.
Even if there are some things you don't understand, you can review them using Mental Magic. If you still don't understand, you can ask Snape for help.
After all, he was already very used to Snape's way of speaking.
Snape walked to the other side of the snake's skin, with Wizet following closely behind.
"I'll only do it once." Snape raised his wand. "From here... all the way to the tail, and watch closely! Sectumsempra!"
