Tom Riddle felt an overwhelming sense of shame and anger upon hearing what he had just said.

He ceased maintaining control over the Fire Snake and instead pointed his wand at Wizet, "Avada Kedavra..."

Before he could finish chanting the spell, the magic wand in his hand passed right through his hand and fell to the ground.

Not only that, but a glass bottle filled with silvery-white liquid fell out of his body.

Without hesitation, Tom Riddle gathered the light around him and scooped the glass bottle into his hand.

As he reached for the wand, Wizet uttered the spell first, "Accio Wand!"

Just as Tom Riddle was about to grab the wand, it flew into Wizet's hand.

"No! The energy expenditure is too great! I can't linger here any longer!" Tom Riddle's eyes flickered, and he suddenly floated up, quickly disappearing into the darkness.

"It's faster than I expected." Wizet looked down at Lockhart's wand. "Is this Soul Fragment? How bizarre!"

"Under normal circumstances, it would be very difficult to detect him through conventional means..." He gently shook his wand, causing the Giant Serpent to vanish into nothingness.

Recalling the glass bottle in Tom Riddle's arms, Wizet murmured to herself, "Something more precious than a wand? What was in that bottle?"

"It's probably Unicorn Blood ..." Firenze's face was grim. "Perhaps one of the Unicorn has been killed!"

Wizet frowned. "Is this why he came to the Forbidden Forest? Besides inciting the Acromantula to attack Hogwarts, he also wants Unicorn Blood?"

Firenze sighed, "Unicorn Blood can prolong life... even for those on the verge of death, it's more effective than Phoenix Tears!"

"But the side effects contained in the blood... that invisible yet deadly curse, will likely cause the user to pay a terrible price!"

Dumbledore once said something similar, and Wizet, out of curiosity, wanted to know exactly what price she would have to pay.

However, he couldn't find any relevant information, either on or off campus, and usually just mentioned it as "at a heavy price".

He couldn't help but ask curiously, "Mr. Firenze, what exactly was the terrible price we paid? Do you know?"

Firenze recalled, "According to our word of mouth, once you drink the Unicorn Blood, any plans you make afterward may go awry and fail to come to fruition..."

Just then, a rumbling sound suddenly came from afar.

Firenze's expression changed. "I should have told you earlier! They're here! Those creatures driven away by the Acromantula!"

The ground trembled, and not far away was a small hill-like figure, a furious Troll, frantically waving its arms, trying to grab the Acromantula wandering in the forest.

Wizet snapped her fingers, burning the Acromantula. Before the Acromantula could even turn over, it was grabbed by the Troll and slammed back to the ground...

"Let's go quickly!" Firenze bent down. "I'll take you away from here."

"I have a better way!" Wizet looked at the ever-growing number of enormous figures and shook his head slightly. "Where is the nest of the Acromantula?"

"It's just ahead." Firenze immediately pointed into the distance.

"Then take me there!" Wizet transformed into the Phoenix Animagus and took flight.

Firenze quickly gathered his strength, pushed off with all four hooves, grabbed Wizet's claws in mid-air, and began to guide the direction.

Compared to the imposing presence in the distance, this territory belonging to the Acromantula gave Wizet a sense of tranquility.

Along the way, there were only large spider webs hanging from the trees and pieces of bone and flesh stuck in them, with no other traces of living creatures.

The surrounding trees grew increasingly dilapidated, gradually turning into a misty expanse. Firenze whispered, "Put me down! If we're both in the air, we'll be easier targets."

Once back on the ground, Firenze carried Wizet forward until they came to a wide depression.

The center of the depression was shrouded in a hazy mist that blocked out the sun. Only upon close inspection could one discern that it was a giant, hemispherical spider web.

Scattered around the spider web were countless Acromantula egg, which were densely packed together and would occasionally throb like a heart.

The Acromantula that had escaped gathered here, constantly opening and closing their chelicerae, as if they were complaining.

And the person they were confiding in was an enormous Acromantula that looked like an elephant;

Its bristles were no longer jet black, but instead revealed a tattered gray, indicating that it was definitely not young. There was also a layer of white film over its eyes, suggesting that it was blind.

Firenze once said that the leader of the Acromantula had lost its ability to move, which must be the huge Acromantula in front of us.

"You've come... I am Aragog..." Aragog opened and closed his chelicerae, speaking much more clearly than the other Acromantula.

"I am the wizard's pet...we are not enemies...wizards and Centaur are enemies...we are friends...good friends..."

"Is that so?" Wizet raised an eyebrow, then suddenly turned around and raised her wand in one direction. "Sectumsempra!"

Whoosh!

A sword aura slashed through the spider web, followed by a dark shadow descending from the sky.

It was another Acromantula, even larger than Aragog, with a hideous wound torn open on its carapace, from which foul blood kept oozing out.

The enhanced perception brought by the Guardian Meditation and the Night Vision Spell can be more effective in such a relatively quiet environment.

This allowed him to discover the Acromantula hiding in the shadows, intending to launch a sneak attack.

"It tastes better because we're friends, right?" he muttered. "Still planning a sneak attack?"

"Mosag!" Aragog's voice was filled with grief. "Kill them! Eat them!"

However, the Acromantula dared not move at all, and even shrank back towards Aragog. "Click... The terrifying wizard... Can't eat him... Will kill me..."

Wizet cut to the chase. "Where's the Unicorn? Where's the Unicorn you captured?"

"It's not here...it was taken away by something else," Aragog replied. "That thing...it bewitched me...I didn't mean to..."

Wizet narrowed her eyes slightly. Compared to the other Acromantula- Acromantula, this one was probably older and therefore knew better how to communicate with humans.

Having been attacked by the Acromantula several times, Wizet certainly wouldn't believe such a story, given the inherently cruel and dangerous creature.

He looked at Firenze and asked, "Mr. Firenze, is what it said true?"

"Nature will tell us the answer..." Firenze looked worried, clearly like Wizet, he did not believe what the Acromantula said.

He took out a handful of herbs from the pouch at his waist, and was about to make his next move when the Acromantula named Mosag flipped over and suddenly spat out a strand of spider silk...
