If He Came to the Magical Congress to Serve as an Auror...
If it weren't for the Fire Dragon chasing after him, Wizet would actually be a bit like a tour guide;
He led a group of Auror from the Magical Congress on a tour of New York, flying from the Bronx to Queens, from Queens to Brooklyn, and from Brooklyn to Manhattan.
The situation has escalated to this point, and we can no longer care about the so-called Statute of Secrecy. We can only try to divert Fire Dragon and reduce the various losses caused by it.
Once the Fire Dragon lurking around the World Trade Center are dealt with, the Fire Dragon crisis can be declared over.
Having fought this far, Wizet and his team are nearing their physical and mental limits, and are mainly persevering through sheer willpower.
The Quidditch team members and Auror' Flying Broomstick showed obvious signs of burning on the branches, with the ends being severely carbonized, constantly scattering carbon dust during flight.
The Obscurus that Wizet had transformed into was now much smaller than before, the Black Mist was not swirling around as frequently as before, and the flight speed had also slowed down considerably, showing obvious signs of fatigue.
There were as many as ten Fire Dragon, and they were clearly much more energetic than Wizet and his group who were engaged in disaster relief throughout the city.
Their species are also somewhat different; they do not include small Fire Dragon such as the Welsh Green Dragon or the Peruvian Vipertooth.
This group of Fire Dragon included three Hebridean Black Dragon, three Ukrainian Ironbelly, two Hungarian Horntail, two Romanian Longhorn, and one Swedish Short-Snout.
Among them, the Hungarian Horntail is the most ferocious, with an extremely strong desire to attack and a very fast flight speed, constantly chasing after Wizet.
Suddenly, a Hungarian Horntail launched an attack, flapping its wings violently and increasing its speed dramatically as it charged straight at Wizet.
"Protego!"
Wizet was in human form at the moment, having just cast a protective spell to block the breath of the Swedish Short-Snout;
"Sectumsempra!"
The Romanian Longhorn beside him opened its mouth wide. Wizet narrowed his eyes slightly, steadied his trembling arm, and retaliated with a swift and decisive Sectumsempra.
The Romanian Longhorn was unable to dodge in time and had one of its horns sliced off by the sword energy of the Sectumsempra. It let out a series of mournful howls and flapped its wings to retreat.
Wizet caught a glimpse of the menacing Hungarian Horntail out of the corner of his eye. If he tried to transform into Obscurus, he risked being swallowed whole.
He wasn't sure if the Fire Dragon, capable of breathing fire, would be as fragile as the Acromantula, or if it would be fraught with danger.
With a quick thought, he turned his wand around, pointed it at the Quidditch team members who had arrived, and then pulled it back sharply, turning the charcoal dust into a staircase and dragging it in front of him.
Wizet stepped onto the stairs and pushed off sharply, rising a body length above the ground and narrowly avoiding the bite of the Hungarian Horntail.
The Hungarian Horntail missed its target, sparks flying from between its teeth. It then abruptly turned its head upwards and unleashed a scorching dragon breath at Wizet.
Wizet exhaled and, taking advantage of the moment when the Hungarian Horntail turned its head, transformed back into Obscurus, narrowly dodging the scorching dragon breath.
He controlled the Obscurus crash into the Hungarian Horntail. The Hungarian Horntail had no time to react and was hit on the back, instantly losing its balance and falling downwards, only managing to let out a mournful cry.
Before Wizet could catch her breath, the surrounding air suddenly began to distort, and hot air churned in the air.
Another Hungarian Horntail appeared, its breath ready to burst forth. The Hebridean Black Dragon to the side, forming a pincer movement with the Hungarian Horntail, also preparing its own breath.
"Repelling Three Feet!"
"Crush to Pieces!"
Two beams of magical light appeared. One struck the Hebridean Black Dragon, causing its head to tilt to the side and its breath to change direction, almost hitting the Swedish Short-Snout that had just stepped forward.
Another attack struck the Hungarian Horntail Hungarian Horntail, which roared in pain as several scales were blasted off its head.
"I finally made it!"
"These Fire Dragon are not easy to deal with!"
"Mr. Lovegood! Are you alright?"
The Quidditch team members and Auror watched with concern while casting spells to attack the Fire Dragon, guiding it aside and relieving Wizet's stress.
The initial interactions between the Auror and Wizet were not exactly pleasant.
Firstly, it happened around noon. From the few words spoken by Director Liam Graves, they learned that someone had come to cause trouble for the Magical Congress. This person was an England wizard named Wizet.
Secondly, Wizet's face was too young, which made them suspicious from the beginning of their meeting. Could such a student who had not yet graduated really lead them to restrain the Fire Dragon and fully implement the plan?
Thirdly, because of Wizet's status Obscurial, the Auror knew more about her than ordinary wizards, and naturally knew what Obscurial and Obscurus were, and were worried that Wizet would lose control in the battle.
As the formal operation unfolded, the abilities demonstrated by Wizet dispelled all their doubts and prejudices;
This England wizard didn't cause them any trouble. In fact, when they made a mistake and were almost injured by the Fire Dragon, he quickly helped them resolve the crisis and allowed the operation to continue.
The Auror felt a sense of familiarity with Wizet, a familiarity that came from Liam Graves, Liam Graves always did things personally.
If they make a mistake, Liam Graves will personally do his best to make up for it and try to prevent the situation from getting out of control.
The Fire Dragon that would require more than a dozen professional wizards to fight, yet Wizet was able to restrain ten of them at the same time. Such unimaginable magical ability amazed them.
Hearing the concerned voices around him, Wizet dispelled the Black Mist surrounding him and simply said, "It's alright, let's continue. This is the last batch!"
"Understood!" the Auror responded in unison, coordinating with the Quidditch players in front of them to hold off two Fire Dragon each and guide them toward Central Park.
Nevertheless, there are still three Fire Dragon that need to be restrained, and they are directly under the responsibility of Wizet.
With only three Fire Dragon surrounding him, things were much easier for Wizet. By switching between his Obscurus and human forms, he could dodge and retaliate with ease.
The Auror would occasionally keep an eye on Wizet's movements to prevent any accidents from happening to Wizet. They watched Wizet maneuvering in the air with the Fire Dragon and couldn't help but feel their hearts pounding.
Quidditch players share similar thoughts, but their comments often focus on flying skills.
If Wizet doesn't want to join the Auror in the future, becoming a professional Quidditch player would be a good option.
"Auror ...if he could immigrate to North America ...and become Auror in the Magical Congress ..."
Following the Quidditch team members' train of thought, the Auror suddenly envisioned a scene: Wizet accepting the appointment as the Magical Congress President, becoming the Director of Magical Law Enforcement...
Thinking of this, they shook their heads repeatedly, silently reciting in their hearts. "Mr. Graves is our director!"
I was just too tired, so I drifted off...
