Being Brave Doesn't Mean Feeling No Fear
What surprised Lupin the most was that even Snape treated Wizet differently.
Even putting all that aside, Lupin's observations in the first lesson revealed that Wizet had clearly mastered the Repelling Charm.
Otherwise, it would be difficult to cast Repelling Charm that surpasses that of other students even when completely distracted.
It now seems that Wizet must have some knowledge of magic like Occlumency, and a fairly high level of proficiency at that, which is why she could confuse Boggart.
Boggart, who had transformed into a white peacock, paused for a moment, seemingly finally finding the direction of the transformation, and his body slowly elongated into a human form.
Lupin pursed his lips. Boggart was changing so slowly, something that had never happened before.
Boggart transformed into the appearance of a student, his features obscured, wearing a school uniform robe, with a table in front of him and a cauldron on which he was brewing Potions.
The student transformed by Boggart looked extremely nervous, his hands trembling as he picked up a spoon and scooped up a mouthful of Potions, bringing it to his face.
Because the "student's" features are vague, Lupin can only determine that it is either in a classroom or taking an exam, and the Potions being brewed is the test question the "student" is facing.
Could this be... something Wizet experienced before? I don't think so, right?
Such a careless trial of Potions... why did Snape treat Wizet differently?
The student that Boggart had transformed into shuddered and suddenly began to mutter to himself in a voice that was difficult to distinguish as male or female.
"I'm taking my Final Exams, what am I supposed to do?" It looked ahead blankly, as if it understood something.
"It's Forgetfulness Potion... How come I've already brewed it? Is it really ready? Why don't we try it..."
It muttered to itself, scooping up another spoonful of Potions and placing it in front of it, then shuddered again, "I'm taking my Final Exams... It's Forgetfulness Potion... Should I try it..."
"No! How could it do this!" Vincent Crabbe, standing next to Lupin, screamed, covering his face. "How could it know this?"
Two other Slytherin students, including Gregory Goyle, shared a similar expression to Vincent Crabbe.
Draco was struggling to hold back his laughter. Despite his flushed face, pursed lips, and slightly trembling body, he kept his arms crossed over his chest, trying his best not to make a sound.
The other students in the classroom didn't hold back and were already laughing hysterically, some even laughing until tears streamed down their faces.
Thanks to the Hufflepuff House's word, this amusing anecdote about the first-year Final Exams has become known to all the students in the same grade.
Although the students didn't know who had drunk the Forgetfulness Potion, and even to the point of being bloated, it didn't stop them from remembering it vividly.
Even students from Slytherin found it hard to suppress their laughter at such a situation;
However, they were more reserved; at least they didn't laugh so hard they were doubled over or cried.
Chris Moen trembled all over. "It's a pity I can't see the face clearly. If it looked like Wizet, I'm afraid I'd be laughed to death!"
"Gentlemen, I'm telling you... this isn't funny." Michael Corner wiped away the tears from the corner of his eye. "Think about it, this is something Wizet is afraid of."
"I agree..." Anthony Goldstein patted his chest lightly, panting as he agreed, "It's really terrifying... If another Snape ... Professor, that would be even funnier!"
Boggart panicked a bit, and before Wizet could even say "Riddikulus," it took the initiative to choose a second target, knocking over the cauldron and rushing towards Wizet's back.
It approached Gregory Goyle, transformed into Draco's likeness, and said with an extremely contemptuous expression, "Get out of here! You have no right to appear before me!"
"Oh!" Gregory Goyle cried out, staggering back two steps.
Draco, standing to the side, said with dissatisfaction, "What's there to be afraid of?"
Gregory Goyle glanced at the real Draco, then at the Boggart who had transformed into Draco, and raised his wand, trembling, "Smack... smack... smack!"
Draco's size rapidly increased, transforming him into the likeness of Vincent Crabbe, before he slipped and fell to the ground.
Michael Corner glanced at Vincent Crabbe, who was gritting his teeth, and shook his head, saying, "It's over... I feel like their friendship might be coming to an end."
Another burst of laughter erupted around them. After Anthony recited the spell, the old woman dressed in the Auror uniform of the Magical Congress transformed into Michael riding Flying Broomstick.
The Flying Broomstick must have malfunctioned, because it carried Michael, who had become Boggart, into the air, and made him bounce around like a bouncy rubber ball, repeatedly hitting the ceiling.
"Anthony!" Michael said through gritted teeth, his voice sounding like it was being forced out from between his teeth.
Terry Boot put his hand on Michael's shoulder. "It's over... I feel like... your friendship might be coming to an end too."
Undoubtedly, this was an extremely enjoyable practical lesson, although a few pairs of friends may have developed a rift that needs to be healed.
As for how long it will take for the rift to heal, that depends on just how strong their friendship is.
Even after the bell rang, the students reluctantly put away their wands and watched Boggart flee towards the locker.
Boggart, still looking like "Burning Vincent Crabbe," squeezed into the not-so-spacious locker, slammed the door shut, and dared not make any more noise.
Lupin clapped his hands and called for the students to gather together. "Alright, before I announce the end of class, please try to restrain yourselves... I'd like to say a few more words to you!"
The classroom echoed with the students' coughs, helping them to quickly regain their composure and try to calm down.
After the students quieted down, Lupin continued, "You all performed very well, far exceeding expectations! Therefore, each of you will receive five bonus points!"
Amid the students' applause, he smiled and bowed, "I think you all understand how important it is to remain calm and confident when facing Dark Magic or any form of fear."
"What Defence Against the Dark Arts teaches us is not just about fighting spells and magic, but more about understanding how to confront our inner fears."
"I can believe that the courage and wisdom you have shown today will be your strongest support when you face challenges in the future!"
"I hope you can continue to maintain this spirit, study hard in the upcoming lessons, and master more magical skills."
He let out a long breath and clenched his fist at the students, saying, "No matter what difficulties you encounter in the future, I believe you will be able to handle them with ease."
"I hope everyone can remember this sentence: Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to forge ahead even when facing fear!"
