"She actually cared a lot about you and Harry." Vizet recalled their last conversation in the library. "She asked me what she should do so you wouldn't dislike her."
"I told her not to sound so high and mighty when she spoke, and that she could be a little more tactful. Hermione really is direct when she talks, and changing that in a short time is difficult."
"Like in Charms Class this morning—I actually saw her trying to change. At first she asked you bluntly whether you hadn't been listening, then she remembered she was supposed to make up for it and changed her words to ask if you were nervous..."
Ron lowered his head, clenched his fists tightly, and gritted his teeth in dejection and regret. "And then I cut her off... I'm such a bastard!"
"What should we do, then?" Harry looked conflicted. "Apologize to her?"
"What else?" Vizet shrugged. "Find her and have a proper talk with her again, if you want to gain a friend."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." Anthony put an arm around Vizet's shoulder. "Looks like our Mr. Lovegood can do anything! You can even mediate this kind of problem?"
"It was just a coincidence this time." Vizet smiled faintly. "I really don't have any experience with this. You'd better ask me how to do homework instead!"
Night deepened, and the smell of roasted pumpkin grew even stronger, spreading through the whole castle.
Vizet, who was planning to head to the Great Hall, was stopped by Fred and George, who appeared out of nowhere.
They took Vizet by the arms and brought him to a corner.
After making sure no one was around, Fred finally spoke in a low voice. "You've been getting pretty close to Snape lately?"
George added, "We were worried Snape
