Inside the wooden door was a spacious Circular Room, its walls covered with portraits.

The portraits could move as well, but it was already late at night, and they had all fallen into slumber, their bodies rising and falling slightly as they dozed.

As they entered, Filius Flitwick lowered his voice considerably. "These are all the Headmaster's portraits."

Vizet nodded and looked around the room curiously.

Several desks had been placed here. The desks against the wall were covered with silverware of all shapes and sizes. The silver objects spun or hopped around, puffing out clouds of smoke.

Two rows of curved cabinets stood flush against the walls. One compartment held a tattered wizard hat—the Sorting Hat used for the Sorting Ceremony.

Just as Vizet was becoming dazzled by everything before him, a pleasant voice came from overhead.

He looked up and saw a Large Crimson Bird appear before him.

The bird's form resembled that of a swan. It trailed golden, shimmering, beautiful tail feathers, and its beak and claws were very long, giving it a sense of Lethal Elegance.

"This is Headmaster Dumbledore's companion, the Phoenix Fawkes," Filius Flitwick introduced it softly. "A rare Magical creature."

"I saw it in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Vizet nodded. "But it is even more beautiful than the illustration."

Perhaps it had heard Vizet's praise. Fawkes let out a low cry and hovered beside him.

"Try extending your arm. It seems to like you," Filius Flitwick said happily. "Don't worry about being unable to catch it. Phoenixes are highly intelligent."

Vizet did as he was told, raising his arm bend as if calling an Eagle over. Fawkes immediately swooped down and perched on it.
