Kreacher, Willing to Tell the Truth

"Just as I thought..." Hearing Kreacher's answer, Vizet nodded and followed his own train of thought as he continued asking.

"Kreacher, please tell me now. The person who asked you to destroy this locket... was it Mr. Regulus Black?"

"Regulus? Why would this have anything to do with him?" The moment Sirius Black heard the name, he immediately demanded, "Kreacher! Did his death have something to do with you?"

"Master Regulus... told Kreacher to switch a locket... leave and destroy the locket... drank all the potion... dragged into the water... not allowed to say anything..."

"Switch a locket? Drank all the potion? Dragged into the water?" Perhaps because this concerned Regulus, Sirius Black reacted with extraordinary speed.

"Regulus died because of a potion? And he told you to switch what locket?" He bent down and seized Kreacher by the shoulders, shaking him hard. "How is that possible!"

"Sirius! Let go!" Lupin hurriedly wrapped his arms around Sirius Black's shoulders, pulling him aside as he hissed, "At least let him finish! Don't you want to know the truth?"

After all, Regulus was Sirius Black's younger brother. If their positions at the time were set aside, their relationship definitely had not been bad;

otherwise, when Regulus had been introduced earlier and the cause of his death had come up, Sirius Black would not have shown such sadness and pain.
