"Different people have different understandings of magic," Vizet said with a smile. "Otherwise, there wouldn't be such a wonderful Hogwarts Voice."
"That's true..." Harry nodded in agreement, then thought of another question. "Vizet, do you know what the potion in that Stone Basin is?"
"There are actually quite a few potions that can achieve a similar effect..." Vizet said thoughtfully. "Even if you used Confusion Draught and altered some of its ingredients, you could produce something similar."
"Could it be Lovage?" Harry had lost marks on the Confusion Draught exam, so he immediately thought of a possibility. "Switching it out for another ingredient?"
After all the exams were over, he had even taken out his Potions textbook and reviewed the formula again.
"Right. Lovage could be replaced with Hemlock," Vizet said with a nod. "Both the preparation method and the stirring technique would need to be changed..."
"And Hemlock Essence. You'd only need one drop..." he continued. "Once you've done that, you're halfway there. Then you'd need to add Belladonna, leaves of Wolf's Bane Monkshood..."
Harry nodded repeatedly, but sweat quickly broke out on his forehead.
