Vizet happened to have a flash of inspiration, so he casually voiced his guess. Only after the words left his mouth did he notice that Professor Snape had been speaking too.
"Sorry, Professor Snape..." he said apologetically. "Just now, I..."
Before Vizet could finish, Snape's outstretched hand swept around, settling into an extremely practiced arms-crossed posture. In a cold tone, he cut Vizet off. "Continue."
"All right." Vizet nodded, took out his notebook, and began writing down his thoughts, further straightening out the train of thought in his mind.
"If we extend Zygmunt Budge's potion theory, the wizard himself can actually be regarded as a catalyst, an enhancer, and... a stabilizer."
After straightening out his thoughts, he added another word: stabilizer.
"'Stabilizer' is something I just thought of... I think this is the most common application. Even without knowing Zygmunt Budge's potion theory, you can still make use of it."
