Vizet raised an eyebrow. "A god who sheltered them in their dreams..."
Dumbledore shrugged. "Absurd as it sounds, that is the truth..."
Murcus pointed at the Phoenix Patronus again, then lowered her hand, shook her head, and began burbling away once more.
Dumbledore continued to explain, "And the Phoenix Patronus you summoned, Vizet, is exactly the same as the image that god revealed..."
"Since the phoenix is the god that sheltered them, they want to make a statue of their god. But for some reason, they only thought of doing it now..."
He pointed at the massive stone beside the merfolk statue. "After they returned to the bottom of the lake this afternoon, they began carving the divine statue."
Vizet could actually offer an explanation for the confusion the merfolk felt;
This had happened because, at noon, he had left behind a Phoenix Patronus for the merfolk light-and-shadow in the "Shadow World."
Dumbledore helped translate for a while longer, then finally breathed out with a smile. "All right... She needs to hold a meeting with the other merfolk to decide whether we can intervene."
"As for the purpose of our visit, I have explained it clearly to Murcus. We will set up a Ritual Magic for them, but there are still some things they must do themselves..."
"Once the Ritual Magic is complete, their singing will become more beautiful, their appearances will become more lovely, and the waters within the village will transform into a Warm Water Area."
"Understood, Headmaster Dumbledore!" Vizet nodded. The goals he had previously written in his notebook were exactly as Dumbledore had summarized them.
Merfolk were somewhat similar to centaurs, both being extremely proud Magical creatures. Now that they needed a Wizard to intervene in their lives, they naturally had to gather the tribe together
