The following day.

Driftmark, Hull.

The Name Day celebration for the Uncrowned Queen, Rhaenys Targaryen, proceeded as scheduled. Many nobles arrived by ship, taking the opportunity to curry favor with the Velaryon Family.

Outside Hull's harbor.

"Roar!"

A massive golden dragon spread its wings and soared, climbing steadily as it skimmed above the sea.

A three-masted sailing ship flying the Three-Headed Red Dragon banner sailed slowly onward, its ram forged in the shape of a golden dragon's head cutting through the waves.

"Dragon!!"

Merchants from the Free Trade City-States screamed in excitement and fear at the sight of the golden dragon.

When they saw the royal ship escorted by the dragon, they realized the Targaryen Family had arrived.

"Blegh—"

On deck, Viserys leaned over the railing, unable to stop vomiting.

The king of an entire realm, the final rider of Balerion the Black Dread, was actually seasick.

Hand Lyonel stood beside him in silence, taking a handkerchief from his pocket and offering it to the pale-faced king.

"Thank you."

Viserys was utterly weak as he took the handkerchief and wiped his mouth.

Lyonel said nothing, watching the king return to his cabin to rest.

This visit would not end peacefully. The real trouble was still ahead.

If the king could not hold on, the royal family would lose all face.

Half an hour later.

The royal ship entered the harbor, and the sailors worked hard to carry the gifts ashore.

Viserys forced himself upright and brushed away his wife's supporting hand before walking down from the deck alone.

As king, he could not show weakness.

"Roar!"

Syrax circled overhead, letting out a resounding roar.

Viserys glanced up and nodded to himself.

His younger brother Daemon had refused his goodwill.

His daughter Rhaenyra had become the royal family's only presentable card.
