No matter how unwilling the Alliance people were to accept it, no matter how much they gritted their teeth in hatred, they had to admit that Digital Phantom was truly tough when it came to the Alien Race.
Still, some people kept muttering, "Where's the fleet that was supposed to meet them? Were we really deceived...?"
But immediately afterward, an observer cried out, "Holy crap, more than half that Forest Sea has been destroyed! What kind of attack was that?"
"Strange. There are also intense Space Ripple fluctuations within that attack!"
"Intense Space Ripple?" Quite a few people were stunned.
Ever since coming into contact with the Alien Race Forest of Trees, the Alliance had known that these Alien Races could occasionally release Space Ripples.
The Black Lines sprayed out by the trees, for instance, contained the cutting power of spatial energy.
However, those Space Ripples had all been rather weak, barely observable at most.
Now there were actually "intense" Space Ripples. That was clearly unusual.
The observer answered with certainty, "They're far stronger than a Warp Jammer. That's why they could inflict such massive damage on the Alien Race."
Someone else asked, "Can we be sure they weren't naturally formed?"
"Probably not," the observer replied uncertainly. The Alliance's understanding of Space Ripples was still extremely superficial.
"Then did that Battalion-Class Ship release them?"
"That can't be confirmed either," the observer answered awkwardly. "It's too far away, the energy is extremely chaotic, and observation is too difficult."
There were too many small-scale battles near Bi Tao Star. Passing starships often encountered the Alien Race and had no choice but to fight.
Those battles and their aftershocks caused severe interference for the observation stations.
Still, one thing could be determined. "If it was an attack, the method was probably fairly covert."
