At the entrance to the Second Laboratory.
We were stopped again.
Elder Tie was the one who came forward.
Elder Tie stood guard there with twenty or thirty people.
"Roland, do you know what you're doing?" Elder Tie asked gravely.
Roland said nothing.
Elder Tie continued, "Do you know how much Elder Jin and I have sacrificed to protect you and keep you safe until now?"
Roland said coldly, "Cut the pointless crap. Tell him to come out and see me."
Elder Tie's face darkened. "Go. Drive them away!"
The moment he finished speaking, the people behind him rushed forward, clearly intending to chase us off.
Roland flew into a rage and shouted as she moved to attack.
Elder Tie said, "I'm telling you to leave for your own good. If you don't leave now, you may not be able to leave at all!" I vaguely sensed there was more to his words.
But Roland did not care about any of that and immediately clashed with those people.
And she showed them no mercy.
Very quickly, she knocked down five or six of them, striking with lethal force.
Elder Tie's expression grew increasingly grim, and he shouted, "Roland! Can't you take some advice? Leave!"
After hesitating for a moment, I rushed in front of Roland, grabbed her, and pulled her back.
She struggled fiercely, trying to shake off my hand.
"Let go of me!"
I looked at her and shook my head. "This isn't the time to be willful. Let's go!"
She was unwilling to accept it. She said that since she had already come this far, she would not leave unless she saw that person and asked him certain questions herself.
"At a time like this, can't you see what's really going on?" I asked her.
She stopped struggling
