The doctor said that this Void Realm was a passage between parallel spaces that he had opened up, or rather, a node.
He had simply gone too far with it and turned that node into a small world.
His original intention had merely been to make this space a gathering place for humans from parallel spacetime, where everyone could exchange goods and information, like a port connecting several parallel worlds.
But things had not gone as he wished. His ideals had been full, but reality had been harsh.
There had been nothing wrong with his design. He simply had not taken human nature into account when creating it.
And he had not left himself a backup plan. Before long, he lost control of this parallel space. Even he himself had ended up like this. If he had not still been of some use, they probably would have killed him long ago.
He also said that this place connected at least four parallel spaces, perhaps even more. Because this spacetime node existed, it had quickly been discovered by certain interested parties in the parallel worlds. Thus, four parallel spaces had only been his initial estimate. After so long, there might be far more than four now.
"I have to say, you really are something. You couldn't even fully control this small world yourself, yet you made it this big and went this wild. Tell me, do you have some misunderstanding about your own strength?" Yuan Jiang asked angrily.
I shot him a glare. "His intentions were good. You don't know him. He's a technology fanatic. The reason he wanted to connect parallel spaces was largely so he could learn more technology from them. He hoped even more that our technological civilization could make a huge leap forward. He simply failed to
