I understood what Monkey meant.

In humanity's eyes, life was meant to be enjoyed.

Yet from ancient times to the present, there had been far too few people who could truly enjoy life.

Only the powerful and privileged were truly qualified to enjoy life. For those at the bottom, being able to eat their fill and stay warm was often a luxury.

But the emergence of Artificial Intelligence had given people hope.

It felt as though the days of reaching out for clothes and opening one's mouth for food were not far away.

Because we had discovered that the work of any position could be assigned to Artificial Intelligence, while people only needed to reap the benefits.

Although the emergence of Artificial Intelligence would cause many people to lose their jobs, that did not matter. After all, in their view, the final outcome would be that no one needed to work, while the necessities of life would be endlessly produced and supplied by Artificial Intelligence. At that point, humanity would only need to do one thing: establish and improve a sound social distribution system.

I had even read articles saying that when that day came, humanity would finally achieve true fairness and equality. Everyone would equally enjoy the necessities of life created by Artificial Intelligence, while people only needed to do things they liked every day, travel and sightsee,
