I woke up.
I saw the room packed with people.
They were all there.
Ye Jinghong said, "Ying Gou brought you back. He said that while you were walking, you suddenly froze in place. He had no idea what was going on, so he brought you back directly. We didn't learn that you'd been taken into a Dreamscape created by Yin Wuyu until Maru woke up."
I looked at Maru.
My mind kept replaying one question: when had Maru left?
It seemed to have been when I was talking to old man Yuan. He disappeared when old man Yuan said he wanted to leave Yuan Valley and Guixu.
I hadn't noticed at the time. It was as though I had even forgotten about Maru.
"Maru, when did you leave the Dreamscape?"
"When that old man told you and Time to jump into the abyss, I suddenly woke up for some reason and found that I'd actually left the Dreamscape."
My eyes widened. "You woke up even though you didn't jump down with us?"
Maru looked equally bewildered. "It was like some mysterious force pushed me out all at once."
Could it have been Yin Wuyu? That really was possible.
Ye Jinghong gave a bitter smile. "We knew you were trapped in the Dreamscape, yet there was nothing we could do. None of us knew how to enter a dream. I even called Xie Yi. Xie Yi told me to contact the Doctor, saying that maybe he had a solution. But after I called him, do you know what he said?"
I shook my head. How was I supposed to guess?
Ye Jinghong said, "The Doctor said not to worry, that you would probably wake up soon. He also said Yin Wuyu was your brother, and since the Dreamscape had been
