That laughter appeared again.

In the distance, a red figure gradually grew clearer.

It was a woman.

Her face was deathly pale, with blood still seeping from the corners of her eyes.

Her disheveled hair covered half her face, and her tongue hung grotesquely long.

One glance was enough to tell that she was a female ghost.

I said to Ying Gou, "You're good at dealing with zombies, but what about female ghosts?"

Ying Gou said flatly, "More or less the same. A female ghost at this level? I can make her soul scatter in minutes!"

Ying Gou did not take this female ghost seriously at all.

He was not boasting. He was someone who had even dared to fight the Ten Ghost Emperors.

If Houtu had not appeared back then, the Ten Ghost Emperors would probably have become the Eight Ghost Emperors, or even fewer.

The female ghost had already pounced at me. Her target was actually me.

One of her hands shot straight toward my chest. Her skeletal fingers suddenly extended by more than ten centimeters, and a savage grin spread across her face.

I did not move. It was not because I had been frightened stiff; I simply did not take her attack seriously either.

I raised my right hand, and a cluster of flames sprang up at my fingertips!

The female ghost had been moving quickly, but the moment she saw the flame at my fingertips, her entire body flew backward.

Her voice was filled with terror. "Samadhi True Fire? How do you have Samadhi True Fire?"

"What does me having Samadhi True Fire have to do with you? Why should I tell you?" I had no intention of indulging her.

She snorted coldly, abandoned me, and pounced toward Ying Gou instead.

I did not move.
