Something Happened, the Forceful Doctor

The doctor was ecstatic when he learned of our decision.

He promised that Jiang Xiaohui would be resurrected in the shortest possible time.

And I would not lose anything, other than having some genetic tissue extracted.

"Then what are we waiting around here for? Let's go now!" the doctor said.

I pointed at Jiang Xiaohui. "He doesn't have a physical body. How is he supposed to get out? And once he leaves, this domain will most likely disappear. If the domain vanishes, it probably won't be so easy for him to create another one like it."

Although I did not know how Jiang Xiaohui had created this domain, I had to admit one thing: it was quite large. God knew how much time and effort it had cost him.

"That doesn't matter. We can all leave together. As for how to get out, I suppose we'll still have to rely on you two."

So this guy could not do anything? Was he only good at talking? Some doctor he was!

Hearing the disdain in Jiang Xiaohui's and my voices, he did not think there was anything wrong with himself at all. "Everyone has their own specialty. This simply isn't my field of expertise. Let me tell you, whenever it's a field I know well, I have never backed down."

I said to Jiang Xiaohui, "Can you really bear to leave it?"

Jiang Xiaohui looked beyond the temple. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't reluctant. I've stayed here for so many years, after all. Of course I've grown attached to it. But as the saying goes, no feast lasts forever, much less a mind domain like this."

"Then let's go."

"Let's go!"

This time, I took the lead and guided them out of Jiang Xiaohui's domain.

We returned to
