Catacombs.
This was an underground space of a little over one hundred square meters.
Four one-meter-long crystals were embedded in the four corners above the dome of the catacombs.
The crystals emitted a bright yet non-glaring light, dispelling the darkness throughout the catacombs.
A large cauldron was placed in the center of the catacombs.
The cauldron seemed to be forged from bronze material, but what material it actually was was completely impossible to know.
Moreover,
the cauldron was not crafted by human hands, but nurtured naturally by heaven and earth.
There were many intricate inscriptions on the wall of the cauldron; this was a type of mysterious inscription that could not be parsed.
Sitting cross-legged on a futon not far from the large cauldron was a handsome young man.
A large pile of colorful gemstones was placed in front of the man.
The light of the gemstones was very bright.
Furthermore,
the radiance bloomed by the gemstones possessed an extraordinary magic that mesmerized people, causing one to involuntarily want to take them as their own.
However,
the young man situated in the midst of the gemstones looked upon these gemstones with utter disdain.
His energy was focused on the item in his hands.
That was a great halberd over two meters long.
A halberd!
It was a weapon equipped with a bronze or iron spearhead at one end of a long shaft, accompanied by a crescent-shaped sharp blade on the side.
The halberd used chopping, stabbing, hooking, slicing, probing, hanging, knocking, shoveling, back-cutting, horizontal stabbing, downward slashing and stabbing, oblique binding, horizontal slashing, and cutting as its primary moves, alongside flat hooking, wall-pinning, reverse stabbing, piercing strikes, lifting strikes, and direct vertical cleaving.
Its functions were complex, possessing almost the characteristics of all weapons.
It could both hook and fork
