Background and History

Early transmigration

Wang Ming began as an ordinary twenty-first-century office worker. His first transmigration placed him in the body of Zhang Jinjiu, an aging Ming-dynasty detective whose memories and martial arts he did not inherit. Unable to read local manuals or understand meridians and acupoints, he initially relied on plot knowledge, improvised drunken behavior, and painstaking self-education to survive. 1 2

His system initially provided traversal and rebirth rather than direct power. In The First Under Heaven, he treated future knowledge as currency, trading intelligence for manuals including Hegemon Under Heaven, Thousand Flowers Scatter Money, and the Illusion Sword. Mount Hua Sect and martial foundation

Reborn as Mount Hua Sect’s fifth disciple, Wang Ming deliberately spent years appearing mediocre. Unlike his previous life, he received formal instruction in literacy, medicine, meridians, acupoints, and internal-energy cultivation. He defended Mount Hua against the Sword Sect challengers, saving Linghu Chong and defeating Feng Buping and Cheng Buyou. After reaching a bottleneck and deciding his growing prestige would eventually threaten his relationship with Yue Buqun, he departed without notice. Condor-era travels

In the next world, Wang Ming became Guo Jing’s teacher in Mongolia. He taught Guo Jing literacy and internal-energy fundamentals while secretly acquiring the lower volume of the Nine Yin Manual from Chen Xuanfeng’s body. He later infiltrated Chongyang Palace, Peach Blossom Island, Shaolin, and other martial institutions to collect techniques and cultivation knowledge. 17 21 22 64

During this period, he developed Heavy Swordplay, converted to the Innate Skill, challenged Huang Yaoshi, and gained the remaining stances of the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms from Hong Qigong. He spent roughly four centuries in that world, using the Eight Directions and Six Harmonies, I Alone Am Supreme Skill to extend his lifespan.
