A black wave swept across the starry sky in all directions.
This was the power of darkness.
Furthermore, it was a living, sentient dark power.
Living darkness was called symbiotes, or parasites.
The most famous among them was Venom, who had once possessed Spider-Man Peter Parker.
At the source of the black wave stood a man with disheveled silver hair and a pale face. He wore a black robe with a scarlet scorpion-like pattern on his chest, and he grasped a blood-red greatsword in his hand.
He drove the tip of the sword into the giant meteorite floating beneath his feet, resting both hands on the pommel.
The sword in his hand was extremely eerie.
The entire blade seemed to lack any distinction between guard and body; it was forged as a single piece.
That's right!
It was woven together.
It was woven from strip after strip of scarlet, living muscular tissue.
The sword endlessly released dark power.
In the blink of an hour, the black fluids devoured and combined with one another, forming tens of thousands of symbiote armies.
A symbiote was simply a pool of boneless flesh and blood, capable of arbitrarily shifting its body into any shape and even transforming into weapons for combat.
Among the symbiote army, there was also a group of special individuals.
They were a group of symbiotes resembling Western demonic dragons, bearing a pair of fleshy wings and opening their massive maws to spew countless bio-tissues that wriggled like black maggots, making one's scalp tingle at the sight.
Symbiotes, also known as parasites,
could be worn upon the body by people to be used as a suit of armor.
Facing the endless symbiote army, Wang Ming also felt a headache coming on.
Or rather, he felt a certain wariness toward Knull.
Knull!
