The Primordial World!
It was a world of an extremely high tier, pregnant with a massive number of magic treasures and powerful living beings.
Hongjun had merged his body with the Primordial World Heavenly Dao, gaining actual control over the Primordial World.
However,
because the tier of the Primordial World was so high, even though Hongjun gained control over it, it also disguisedly caused the Heavenly Dao to imprison him.
Naturally, Hongjun wanted to break free from the shackles of the Heavenly Dao, and thus he began to set about weakening the disguised Primordial World—that was, the tribulation.
Except for the first Ferocious Beast Tribulation and the second Dragon-Phoenix Tribulation, none of the other tribulations were formed naturally.
The Witch-Demon Tribulation, the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation, the Journey to the West Tribulation...
The emergence of every single tribulation would cause a severe weakening of the living beings in the Primordial World.
The Heavenly Dao was the collective consciousness of the world's living beings; as the living beings of the world decreased, the strength of the Heavenly Dao would naturally degenerate along with it.
Hongjun's method of tribulations, while weakening the Primordial World Heavenly Dao, would not truly harm the origin of the Primordial World.
Hongjun's method was very clever, but Wang Ming did not want to use such a method.
In Wang Ming's view, this was an extreme waste.
The Primordial World was an extremely powerful world, and the life born within it was equally powerful.
The height that many living beings of the world could reach in their entire lifetimes could not even compare to a ferocious beast just born in this world.
Therefore,
Wang Ming decided to put this point to use, and so he guided the Primordial World to drift about in the Void Sea Realm.
