Sages looked up at the sky above their respective spaces. The crisscrossing nineteen-line grid was about to take form, and immediately, urged by the warning of Supreme Sage of Journey to the West, they called upon their secondary auxiliary Dao principles to seize the gaps within that nineteen-line grid.
The Dao consisted of principles, and principles consisted of runes, meaning any Dao possessed its own gaps.
Therefore, every cultivator would use their own methods to shrink these gaps infinitely through a special arrangement.
The Dao principles manifested by Taishang appeared as Taiji diagrams, while Fuxi's Dao principles manifested as Eight Trigrams diagrams.
Every single pattern represented a unique arrangement scheme.
To the Sages, Wang Ming was an extremely unfamiliar person; yet to Wang Ming, the Sages were extremely familiar presences.
Although the number of direct head-on confrontations could be counted on one hand, through the methods they had passed down, Wang Ming could reverse-engineer a thing or two about the Sages' Dao principles.
With this foundation, the Sages' Dao principles were nothing more than stacked building blocks before Wang Ming. He only needed to find the load-bearing point, apply a force to it, and while unable to destroy them, he could instantly cause their Dao to scatter.
Right now, the densely packed Dao principle runes resembled military squares of neatly arranged soldiers, with extremely obvious gaps between the intersecting lines.
As long as Wang Ming buried his own principles into these gaps, he would truly be able to seal the Sages within this space.
And so,
the Sages and Wang Ming began a race against time to seize and fill the gaps.
