McKinley clearly didn't believe what Haku said, so he didn't point out the direction to God's Island.

Haku had no choice. He looked at Conis and said, "Miss Conis, which direction is God's Island?"

McKinley wanted to stop Conis from answering, but Haku suppressed him directly with Spiritual Pressure.

Conis pointed toward a direction in the White Sea and said, "Keep going that way, and you'll see God's Island soon."

Haku nodded in thanks, then used Geppo combined with Spiritual Pressure to step through the air toward the direction Conis had indicated. Soon, Conis and the others lost sight of him.

But how should Haku put it? Although he kept flying through the air in the direction Conis had pointed, there weren't really any landmarks to go by in the White Sea.

Without realizing it, Haku strayed from the path to God's Island and flew off somewhere else.

Boom!

As Haku was stepping through the air, he heard the sound of a cannon firing. When he looked down, a cannonball was speeding toward him.

"Destructive Arts Number Four, White Lightning."

A bolt of lightning shot from Haku's hand, instantly destroying the cannonball.

But then more cannon fire rang out. Haku couldn't help cursing, "Seriously."

"Destructive Arts Number Fifty-Eight, Dark Gale."

A tornado erupted from Haku's hand, sweeping toward the incoming cannonballs. They all got tangled together, producing an even more violent explosion.

"Damn it! Where the hell did he go!" a tall, muscular man with a Mohawk and braided hair roared angrily.

"You looking for me?" Haku asked, his voice cold and sinister as he stood behind Wappa.

"Wappa, get down!" An iron cannonball flew straight at Haku's face.

Tch.

Haku sneered at the incoming iron cannonball, instantly drawing his Zanpakuto and slicing it into dust.

"Die, intruder!" Wappa aimed his Burn Bazooka at Haku and pulled the trigger.

A straight line of blue-white flame shot toward Haku, and a violent explosion and fire left a deep crater where he had been standing.

But Haku had already used Shunpo to leave the spot the moment the attack came.

He looked helplessly at the Skypieans attacking him and said, "If you keep this up, I'll have to get serious."

Unfortunately, Haku was dealing with Wappa, the most hot-tempered Skypiean of them all. He didn't care whether Haku got serious or not—he was determined to kill him.

Just then, a small old man suddenly appeared and shouted, "Stop!"

When Wappa and the others saw who it was, they stopped what they were doing. But their eyes stayed fixed on Haku, ready to attack if he made any move.

The old man—the current chief of the Skypieans—said, "Young man, from the looks of you, you're from the Blue Sea, aren't you?"

Haku looked at him and nodded. "That's right. I'm from the Blue Sea."

The chief thought for a moment and then asked, "What business do you have coming to Cloud Hidden Village?"

Haku rolled his eyes. "Who wants to come to your crappy village? I'm heading to God's Island!"

Wappa shouted angrily, "You little brat, what did you say about our village?!" He raised his Burn Bazooka again, aiming it at Haku.

Just then, Laki, the only female Skypiean warrior, stopped him. "Wappa, stop it!"

This time, Haku had had enough. Faced with someone who kept being unreasonable over and over, he chose to suppress him directly.

A red glint flashed in Haku's eyes, and the Conqueror's Haki and Spiritual Pressure hidden within him instantly flooded the entire area.

All the Skypiean warriors were crushed to the ground by the overwhelming force, unable to move.

To be honest, these Skypiean warriors had pretty good physical conditioning. If they were ordinary people facing Haku's Conqueror's Haki, they would have been knocked unconscious on the spot.

Haku looked at the Skypiean chief, the only one unaffected by the Haki.

The chief's expression was a bit grim, but he still spoke. "May I ask what you intend to do on God's Island?"

Haku's answer was blunt. "Kill the so-called god, of course."

Every Skypiean who heard Haku's answer stared at him in shock.

Wappa, still pinned down by Haku's pressure, managed to say, "A brat like you thinks you can kill a god?"

Haku looked at Wappa in surprise. He didn't expect the guy to still be able to talk in this state. So he increased the output of his Conqueror's Haki.

Wappa???

After the initial shock, the Skypiean chief said, "Young friend, do you know what you're about to face?"

Haku snorted. "Just a user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. If he knew Armament Haki, I might take him a little more seriously."

The Skypiean chief didn't understand what Haku meant, but he could hear the contempt in his voice for the god.

He was silent for a moment, then said, "Judging by the direction you came from, you must have come from Angel Island."

He raised a finger and pointed. "God's Island is in that direction. You've already overshot it."

Based on what the chief pointed out, Haku roughly figured out in his mind that he had drifted off course while using Geppo.

He looked at the chief and said, "Thanks, old man."

Kaito leaped into the air once more, heading toward God's Island.

After Kaito left the Shandia settlement, the Haki that had been suppressing the Shandia warriors dissipated!

Wappa stood up and glared in the direction Kaito had gone, his heart seething with resentment.

Laki also rose to her feet. She looked at the elder and asked in confusion, "Chief, do you think that man really has the strength to kill a god?"

The elder shook his head, indicating he didn't know. But recalling how Kaito had effortlessly pinned down Wappa and the others, he still said, "Maybe he does have the power to kill Enel!"

Wappa hoisted his bazooka onto his shoulder and used his skates to chase after Kaito's direction.

Laki called out to him, "Wappa, what are you trying to do!"

The elder spoke up. "Let him go. This might be a good opportunity."

Hearing the elder's words, Laki and the other Shandia warriors grabbed their weapons and pursued after Wappa.

Brrring! Brrring!

Kaito, moving at an incredible speed, heard the Den Den Mushi in his pocket suddenly ring.

Seeing the Den Den Mushi's appearance, Kaito knew it was Sengoku calling him.

A vague sense of unease crept into Kaito's heart, but he still answered the call.

With a click, an enraged roar exploded in Kaito's ear from the other end of the line.

"Kaito, you bastard! Do you not want this job anymore?! Didn't you say you'd be back soon?!!!"
