One day, Ryuseki was home alone when he received a strange message. He went to the place mentioned in the message, and someone was waiting for him there: a man named Cheng Shun Gong.
Normally, Ryuseki would not have paid attention to such a message, but the second message that followed contained words that provoked Ryuseki's older brother, so Ryuseki instantly lost his self-control. In reality, he was not someone who liked to stir up trouble, but he hated it when people insulted those he had a good relationship with. This time, it was also because Cheng Shun Gong sent a message insulting his older brother Kouhi that he came to demand an explanation, only to find the two of them ending up in a fight.
Speaking of Cheng Shun Gong, he was originally a very promising man as well. He was of a similar age to Kouhi and had been touted as a genius since childhood. He entered school alongside Kouhi, only to find Kouhi even more dazzling. Especially after losing to Kouhi in two important competitions—a martial arts tournament where he represented the school and the competition for a spot to study abroad at the world's highest institution of learning, Desgarol Academy—his hatred for him deepened even further.
He, who could have had a smooth sailing path, began to degenerate, and he had targeted Kouhi several times. However, Kouhi behaved impeccably, leaving no openings. So this time, he targeted Kouhi's younger brother, resolved to exact revenge upon him, which was how this farce came about.
"What on earth do you want? Why are you insulting my brother?" Ryuseki clenched his fists tightly, knowing that the person across from him was no good egg.
"Nothing, I just purely think you're an eyesore. Who made you that Kouhi's younger brother?" Cheng Shun Gong angrily retorted, "I don't have any lofty reasons either, it's just that simple."
"If my brother did something to you, why don't you go find him? What's the point of running him down in front of me?" Ryuseki glared at him and said, "I really hate it when people insult my family and friends. If you apologize right now, I won't pursue this matter any further."
When Ryuseki finished speaking, the atmosphere suddenly became awkward. For Cheng Shun Gong, this sentence might as well have been a joke he hadn't heard in a long time. The sky began to grow dark, the night wind felt very chilly, and the two of them remained at a stalemate just like that. Not long after, Cheng Shun Gong finally couldn't hold it in anymore and laughed out loud.
"Hahahaha, are you punk coming here to be a joke? Make me apologize?"
Ryuseki glared at him angrily. "Are you sure you won't apologize?"
"Do you know that talking like that counts as running your mouth?" Cheng Shun Gong walked slowly toward Ryuseki, then suddenly struck Ryuseki's abdomen with a punch. "I already told you I came to vent my spleen on you, wouldn't it be fine if you just played the sandbag properly?"
Cheng Shun Gong's punch was truly no joke; a single blow actually caused Ryuseki's legs to begin trembling.
A sensation of pain invaded Ryuseki's brain, and he could feel his intestines twisting together as his legs grew weak and could no longer support him, causing him to drop to his knees on the ground.
Woo-hoo-hoo~ Ryuseki kept his teeth tightly clenched the whole time to keep himself from crying out, and he just clutched his stomach and rolled around like that.
"Actually, it's useless for you to yell; this is the suburbs, after all. No matter how loud you roar, nobody will hear you." Cheng Shun Gong looked at Ryuseki rolling on the ground. "As for the matter of beating you up today, I hope you'll tell your older brother about it."
"Don't even dream about it! I can resolve this matter right here today." Ryuseki stubbornly climbed to his feet.
Cheng Shun Gong looked at him and laughed loudly, "Go ahead and tell me how you plan to resolve it, you stinking brat." As he spoke, he grabbed a handful of Ryuseki's hair, then violently smashed his head down onto the ground.
Ryuseki's body twitched violently like a stranded fish, going stiff in an instant before his legs began trembling again.
Cheng Shun Gong grabbed his hair, lifted his head up, and asked, "I'll smash your mouth to pieces and see what other skills you have to keep running your mouth."
With trembling hands, Ryuseki wiped away the blood flowing from his nasal cavity and the corners of his mouth. As he struggled back to his feet, he stubbornly talked back, "It doesn't hurt and it's not tickling, is that all the skills you've got?"
Provoked by him, Cheng Shun Gong clenched his fist and struck Ryuseki in the face, then fiercely slammed his knee into Ryuseki's abdomen a few times. Ryuseki was driven back step after step by these blows, but because Cheng Shun Gong was grabbing his collar, he was yanked right back. Following that, a powerful kick was delivered straight to his abdomen, sending Ryuseki flying several meters away.
The kicked-away Ryuseki struggled to maintain his body's balance so he wouldn't fall over, and then he looked up at Cheng Shun Gong, who had been mocking him just a moment ago. His own miserable appearance caused the smile to vanish from Cheng Shun Gong's face under his gaze.
"You really can't beat my brother after all; you only have this much skill!"
