Five Venoms: Toad Mo E

With a sudden surge of power, a fist like a steel ingot struck Mo E's abdomen. The impact sent Mo E's frail body spewing blood. That punch packed quite a wallop.

The blow sent Mo E rolling several times on the ground. He slowly got up, touching his battered stomach.

"That hurts! It really, really hurts!" Mo E glared angrily at the person who had hit him. "Who are you? Don't butt into other people's business!"

"I can't just stand by and watch you do something so dangerous to a girl." Ryuu Mufei, young at the time, stood before the sobbing woman.

Mo E's facial muscles twitched. He suddenly felt an unbearable itch all over his body. He was so close to succeeding, why did someone have to interfere? However, Mo E was not unfamiliar with this person. He was much younger than him, but he was superior in every way. In just one semester since entering the school, he had broken many of the records Mo E had previously set, and more importantly, he came from a privileged family.

"Why? Why? Why?"

Seeing the somewhat frenzied Mo E, the woman quickly hid behind Ryuu Mufei. Even though Ryuu Mufei looked much younger than her, she saw him as her support.

"What is this? What right do you have to interfere in this matter?" Mo E kept scratching the itchy spots all over his body.

The woman, crying, pointed at Mo E from behind Ryuu Mufei. "He's trying to insult me! This toad wants to insult me. I'm the goddess of this school!"

'Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses!' This saying was deeply etched in Mo E's mind. Everyone had an excellent side and a weak side. No one was nobler or more lowly than another. That's what Mo E believed. Even though his family was poor, he was better than others at acquiring knowledge, and he had his own excellent qualities.

"What goddess, shmoddess? We're all people, what's the big deal? It's not about who's worthy of whom, but about who likes whom!" Mo E yelled at the woman behind Ryuu Mufei, his voice hoarse. "What makes you think you're superior to others? What gives you that right?"

Mo E walked forward, holding a utility knife, and approached the woman and the clearly much younger Ryuu Mufei step by step.

Ryuu Mufei glanced back at the trembling woman before turning to Mo E and asking, "Does she like you, then?"

"That's none of your business!" Mo E, enraged, charged forward.

Ryuu Mufei also stepped forward, crouched down, and in a few swift moves, knocked Mo E to the ground and subdued him.

"Hahahaha! To think that someone from the Psychokinetic Clan would attack me bare-handed!" Mo E laughed. "It's unfair! Why are the excellent people excellent in everything?"

"How do you know I'm from the Psychokinetic Clan? My studying at this school is highly confidential. Where did you get that information?" Ryuu Mufei's eyes widened as he looked at Mo E, pinned beneath him.

"Your excellence, hahahaha! Because of your excellence, you broke many of the records I set here, so I investigated you. Why? For what reason? Why do you have all the good qualities? Why have I suffered since birth?"

The woman watched them incredulously and began to slowly back away.

A lengthy explanation would be needed to detail the country's fear and ostracism of the Psychokinetic Clan. It was an undeniable fact that the Five Great Clans were treated as monsters and rejected in this country. If Ryuu Mufei's identity were exposed, his studies at this school would be interrupted. Ryuu Mufei truly cherished this opportunity to study at the school.

"You, shut up!" Ryuu Mufei desperately wanted to stop Mo E from speaking further. He turned to look, and the woman's face was filled with fear of them both.

"You're from the Psychokinetic Clan?" The woman covered her mouth and retreated, while Ryuu Mufei wanted to quickly explain, but Mo E continued to reveal his identity.

"The son of the Psychokinetic Clan's leader, and you're afraid of others knowing your identity! Use your psychokinesis, aren't you excellent?"

Mo E's constant taunts also made Ryuu Mufei lose his composure for a moment. With a wave of his hand, he used his psychokinesis to send Mo E flying. Seeing this, the woman fled as if she had seen a monster.

Mo E crashed heavily onto the ground, unable to get up due to his injuries. He lay on the ground, tears streaming down his face. Soon after, school security guards and the woman's followers found Mo E and beat him severely. Mo E was no longer a student at this school due to previous events; he had just climbed over the wall to enter the school after seeing the woman.

It was unclear how long he was beaten before he was dumped in a garbage heap outside the school. His arm was broken, his body covered in wounds, and he didn't even have the strength to get up. He convulsed, his eyes filled with desolation and hatred. He hated the woman, he hated the dazzling Ryuu Mufei, and he hated this unfair world.

Tears flowed uncontrollably. Looking at the utility knife, broken in half and stuck in his palm, he began to cry. Recalling the woman's face, he pulled out the blade embedded in his flesh.

"I never really intended to hurt her. She was my goddess once too!"

Mo E lay in the foul-smelling garbage, sobbing loudly as he recalled his past experiences. He lived a life of toiling from dawn till dusk. He walked to his old school and by chance saw that woman, the woman who had hurt and humiliated him. She had once been his goddess. Seeing her reminded him of his tragic life. He was resentful and furious, so he climbed into the school. He had only intended to scare the girl, to cut off a lock of her hair as retribution for the humiliation that had led to his family's ruin. But he never expected Ryuu Mufei to intervene without knowing anything.

"Your name is Mo E. I hope you can escape poverty and no longer live this hungry life!"

These were his mother's words to him.

Ryuu Mufei became the sole target of all his hatred, the one who stopped him from getting his revenge. That resentment deepened every time he thought of Ryuu Mufei.

He lived on in this world with that hatred. With a severed arm and a severely injured body, he didn't have much time left. He was nearing the end of his life. He was unwilling to accept this fate. As his life was about to end, Zhi appeared before him.

"Who is the object of your revenge?"

Zhi asked.

"Ryuu Mufei!"

"And what about a larger target?"

"The Psychokinetic Clan, everyone in this country, and... the whole world!"

Mo E shouted hysterically.

For Mo E, was this a form of salvation or a deeper torment? He couldn't say for sure, but the desire for revenge only grew stronger.

Zhi bestowed powerful abilities upon Mo E, but as a price, he transformed into a toad-like creature. He became one of Zhi's strongest subordinates, a member of the 'Five Venoms' – Toad Mo E!

"You know, you've caused me so much misery. So I swore that if I ever caught you, I'd tear you to shreds! As they say, what goes around comes around, and I've finally gotten my chance." Mo E cackled menacingly.

Ryuu Mufei was speechless. Did he have to take responsibility for Mo E's life? He didn't know, but bound by chains, he had no means to resist.

Mo E shoved him hard, sending him crashing against the cold rock wall behind him. Then, Mo E unceremoniously rolled up his right sleeve, revealing countless irregular blisters protruding from his arm, making one's scalp tingle. The liquid inside the blisters was boiling. The white, viscous fluid secreted from the blisters turned into a brown-yellow, foul-smelling liquid shortly after contact with the air. When the liquid dripped onto the ground, it emitted pungent smoke and corroded the icy ground, creating pits.

This was the current Mo E. His body had been transformed into a highly toxic form. His entire body was filled with venom glands connected to all the pores on his skin. His skin swelled, forming those blisters, and the internal pressure forced the venom to seep out through the pores.

"Kid, this little bit of venom is enough to take your life!" Mo E said, then struck Ryuu Mufei with his right hand, which was covered in venom.

Ryuu Mufei watched helplessly as the danger approached, unable to do anything. His psychokinesis was completely unusable.

"This is bad, I'm finished!"
