Beneath the desolate desert lay a rather spacious area, with a black-and-white lake occupying more than half of the space.
Even after several years, this place remained the same as before—lush greenery on one side, scorched earth on the other.
At the center of the lake, atop a stone platform, a black-and-white flame blazed fiercely, releasing a bright radiance.
Suddenly, a figure streaked through the space and appeared on the lush grass.
Looking at the floating flame not far ahead, Xiao Heng could not help feeling disappointed. Though this thing had grown considerably, it was still far from meeting his standards.
"After the Five Elements comes Yin and Yang, but how am I supposed to proceed with Yin and Yang?" Xiao Heng sighed helplessly. "Forget it. This will do for now. Any improvement is still improvement."
Xiao Heng did not have much of an idea about the road ahead. Unlike Xiao Yan, that fellow's path had already been decided.
