Knock, knock, knock...!

"Xiao Heng, open the door...!"

Early in the morning, Zi Yan had already arrived outside Xiao Heng's door, pounding on it with all her strength. If the Pill Tower's doors had not been sturdy enough, Xiao Heng would have suspected that this little girl might smash it apart with her bare hands.

"Thank you, Gu Yue." He reached out and rubbed Gu Yue's head. Her silver hair felt wonderful beneath his hand, soft and smooth.

"Hmph!" Zi Yan snorted in dissatisfaction, then stared stubbornly at Xiao Heng. Only after he "admitted his mistake" did she finally beam again.
