Thousands of peerless experts held one each, manipulating them from afar. Some experts shot tea leaves out from them, wantonly cutting through spacetime and blocking the insectoids.

Other experts simply flew the teacups near the swarms, shaking and sweeping them to make large swatches of insectoids vanish, which was exceptionally formidable.
