"The Female, this is Jessica Jones."
Su Quan then looked at the restrained Himiko and pointed at her head. "Her name's Himiko. She's got some issues up here. For now, I can only keep her restrained and let her adjust slowly."
"It's getting late, Jessica. Arrange rooms for The Female and Himiko. We'll talk about everything tomorrow."
They had a million questions to ask, but seeing Su Quan ready to turn in for the night, they had to swallow their curiosity and save it for the next day.
Jessica Jones hoisted the restrained Himiko with one hand, glanced at The Female—who didn't seem surprised at all—and gestured for her to follow as they left Su Quan's bedroom.
There were plenty of empty rooms on the second floor. As they picked their rooms, Jessica Jones and The Female curiously questioned and probed each other.
With more life experience, The Female quickly noticed something off: Jessica Jones had no idea who Homelander was, had never heard of The Seven, and didn't know Vought International—which struck her as absurd!
Vought's superheroes had spread across the globe. Even in remote, backward cities, they had their third-rate heroes stationed for protection. How could she not have heard of them?
What made it even crazier was that this was Manhattan, and Vought's headquarters was right here in Manhattan. How could she not know? How was that possible?
The only explanation was that this probably wasn't the same world anymore.
The Female had heard of parallel worlds before.
That man—a mysterious stranger whose name she hadn't even asked yet—had brought her to another world?!
It was all absurd, yet real.
Like a dream, like an illusion.
That night, some tossed and turned, unable to sleep, while others hit the pillow and drifted off without a care—just like everyone else, each different.
The next morning.
Su Quan, who blamed his failure to get up on "It's not my fault, it's the bed's fault!" checked in with Friday about what had happened while he was away, then started tallying up the gains from this trip.
He'd only been gone a few days, but the haul was substantial.
He'd acquired partial abilities from Homelander, Queen Maeve, Starlight, Elongated Man, Himiko, and others, and used Points to upgrade his Detection Range once.
Himiko and The Female had come back with him; Starlight and Queen Maeve could be worked on gradually.
Most importantly, he'd learned that the Super Soldier Serum could be stacked infinitely, verified the injection success rate, and confirmed whether it was compatible with Compound V.
All the basic goals had been met. Now it was time to take the first step toward development.
Su Quan rolled out of bed, shaking off the "bed demon's" grip. Nato Tong's glory would start with hiring people—
Over an hour later, after breakfast, Su Quan's pen flew across the paper. Jessica Jones and The Female crowded around curiously, with Jessica reading aloud as she watched:
"Job Posting."

"Salary: Three-month probation period, $1,000/month during probation, $2,200/month after confirmation."
Jessica Jones watched Su Quan finish writing the company address and contact number, smacked her lips, and said, "Your job posting sounds really professional. By the way, what do we do?"
"Start as couriers. I'll assign other roles later."
In the land of the free, where every day's a gunfight, he needed superhumans like Jessica Jones and The Female to break ground before the Super Soldier Legion was trained—otherwise, he'd get looted for free.
Su Quan had already planned it out: until he had enough manpower, he'd only run the Flash Delivery Service—same-zone rapid transport—starting from Manhattan and gradually expanding across New York.
"The Female, you and Himiko get the same deal as Jessica. Room and board during probation, $3,000/month after confirmation."
"I've got no problem with that."
The Female had once been a hot name, but she'd faded fast and didn't have much savings—could barely afford her apartment rent.
Three thousand dollars wasn't a lot, but in this brand-new, unfamiliar world, she was already grateful. After all, in her original world, finding a $3,000 job wasn't that easy either—unless—
You know what I mean.
PS: This is a transitional chapter. Setting up this courier company is mainly to establish a legitimate peripheral force and train personnel in the early stages.

"Excuse me, are you hiring here?"
A poised, beautiful middle-aged woman stood at the door holding a flyer, smiling as she asked Su Quan, who was just coming down the stairs.
Jessica Jones and The Female had gone out to photocopy and post the freshly printed job postings and hadn't returned yet, but an applicant had already shown up—which lifted Su Quan's spirits considerably after his failed attempt to communicate with Himiko.
"Applying for the clerk position?" Su Quan walked over to get a better look at her, but froze at her appearance.
Aunt May?
With her good looks and figure, and decent temperament, wasn't this none other than the future Spider-Man Peter Parker's guardian, Aunt May?
Wasn't she living in Queens? Why had she come to Manhattan to look for a job?
"My name is May Parker. I'd like to apply for the clerk position." Aunt May introduced herself proactively, speaking with poise and confidence about her abilities and her readiness to do the job well.
"That's enough. You're hired."
"Huh?"
"Work hours are eight to five, one day off per week. Can you accept that?"
"Yes!"
"When can you start?"
"I can start right now!"
"Good. Consider yourself employed as of today!"
Su Quan nodded in satisfaction and pointed to the empty hall beside him. "This will be your office area. As you can see, the company's just getting started—everything's a blank slate. Your first task is to go buy office equipment like desks and computers."
With that, he took out fifty thousand dollars and handed it to Aunt May. "Buy whatever's needed for the office, and get the best. If there's extra, return it; if it's not enough, I'll make up the difference. Get it done before dark. Any problems?"
"No, no problems."
"Then go ahead."
"..."
Clutching the money, Aunt May walked out of the company in a daze. Did I—did I really get hired just like that?
Is it really this casual?
No need to verify my abilities or whether I'm lying?
This young boss sure is decisive!
And he actually trusts a newly hired employee to handle purchasing alone—isn't he afraid I'll run off with the money or inflate the prices?
Such—such a straightforward boss. Aunt May had never met anyone like him. Honestly, she couldn't help worrying about the company's future. Wouldn't someone swindle all the company's or the young boss's money?
Even though she'd just been hired and didn't even know the young boss's name yet, Aunt May was already fretting over the company.
After Jessica Jones and The Female returned, Su Quan told them about Aunt May's hiring and the office equipment purchase. If anyone else came to apply, they could handle the interviews.
"You're leaving everything to us? What about you? What are you going to do? You—you're not planning to leave again, are you? You only got back last night!" Jessica Jones grew more suspicious as she listened and instinctively grabbed Su Quan's arm.
Su Quan was taken aback, then chuckled lightly. "Quick on the uptake. I'm just going to get the operating funds for the company. I'll be back in two or three hours."
"Really?"
"Really!"
With Su Quan's assurance, Jessica Jones finally let him go.
He went upstairs, grabbed his scavenger backpack, and after many days, Su Quan once again teleported to the Void, full of anticipation.
The sky was dim, thick dark clouds pressing down as if they might fall at any moment.
Deafening rumbles and blinding flashes of light came and went, stirring a sense of dread.
In the distance, everything was in ruins—crumbling buildings and rubble stood like a wasteland, as if the end of the world had come.
This was the Void, the end of the timeline, and also its "garbage dump."
At the same time, it was Su Quan's treasure trove and adventure ground. Every time he came scavenging, he was filled with anticipation and surprise!
He'd been here several times and made many discoveries.
The ruins of the New York Sanctum, which should have been guarded by the Sorcerer Supreme or Doctor Strange;
The crumbling remains of Stark Tower, teetering on the verge of collapse at any moment;
