It's him!
The powerful psychic!
The mysterious man who had the strength to take everyone out, yet inexplicably let them off with an anticlimax, leaving them shaken but unharmed.
Watching his outstretched hand—long fingers, prominent knuckles—the White Queen swore it was the most beautiful, most captivating hand she had ever seen.
"Mm!"
She nodded heavily, mustering every ounce of strength to leap out of the sea, like a mermaid yearning for a new life, grabbing his hand, seizing the chance to leave the ocean.
"Whoosh—"
The evening breeze stirred the rippling surface. Several Coast Guard speedboats bobbed on the waves, their lights sweeping back and forth across the water, but no one was in sight. Only the deep, dark sea—quiet, terrifying—
"Thud."
The White Queen, soaked from head to toe, collapsed onto the floor. Water dripped from her hair, pattering onto the soft carpet.
She froze.
Lifting her head, she looked around. It was a spacious, elegant living room, seemingly the living room of a hotel suite.
Warm, cozy—
"Drink?"
Su Quan sat on the sofa beside the carpet, poured a glass of whiskey, and handed it to the stunned, bewildered White Queen.
The White Queen took it numbly, took a big gulp, took a few deep breaths, and asked, "Where is this place?"
"New World."
"New World?" The White Queen murmured softly, then suddenly, an incredulous expression crossed her face.
New World?
Could it be—the kind of New World I'm thinking of?!
PS: This chapter nearly broke me. I was stuck for over three hours last night, got up this morning and kept struggling, barely managed to push through.

The next day, afternoon.
A café near Columbia University.
The sky was as clear as a sheet of blue paper, with a few thin white clouds drifting slowly in the wind, as if melted by the sunlight.
The White Queen sat by the window facing the street, gently touching the golden rays of the setting sun spilling through the glass.
The sunlight was warm and bright, driving away the gloom in her heart, making her feel warm all over.
On the table, seven or eight magazines and a few newspapers were pushed aside.
This world had no mutants, no Hellfire Club, none of the things she was familiar with.
The time was different too.
From 1962 to 2005, forty-three years had passed in the blink of an eye, like the south wind scattering the grain piles, or the North Sea flooding the tombstones. From a queen at the forefront of the times to an old relic knowing nothing—truly, time flies, years pass.
The past had become memory, the future had become the present. Seize the present, look forward to the future—this was a brand new beginning!
"What should I do?" The White Queen looked at the calm young man across from her. This mysterious, powerful man who had given her a new life was her new king, her new object of loyalty!
Su Quan set down his coffee cup and said slowly, "We won't be staying in this world long. We're here to find someone named Reed Richards to fix a few things for me. Even though he's just an ordinary person now, he has a brain that could be called the smartest in the multiverse."
"He's at this school. Find him, give him these things, and then—"
He tapped his head with a long finger: "What's mine is mine. Don't touch, don't move, don't steal. Understand?"
Understood!
Even though she didn't know what the items were, he was only responsible for fixing them. No other improper thoughts should arise!
The White Queen nodded, picked up the bag beside her, and prepared to leave.
"There's also some living expenses I left for you in there. Your task is to keep an eye on him and make sure nothing goes wrong during the process."
"Yes."
Watching him lift his coffee cup, the White Queen nodded with good sense, turned, and left the café, stepping through the gates of Columbia University.
Last night's brief crossing could be said to have exceeded its goals.
The combined psychic abilities of the White Queen and Professor X were terrifyingly powerful. Perhaps she could try to control Elios. If successful, turning it into her guard dog would make her a true Lord of the Void!
Magneto's ability to control magnetic fields was also crucial. Once Elios was under control and the Void was fully mastered, how could she, the Lord of the Void, still be holed up in an underground castle?
Infrastructure—Magneto's ability was second to none.
And those abandoned spaceships scattered in different corners, worth repairing, needed to be recovered and managed uniformly—this ability would come in handy there too.
As for Havok and Black King Shaw's abilities, the former had limited applicability, and the latter leaned toward a passive ability, almost useless in building the Void.
On a side note, on the system panel, Black King Shaw's Absorption and Release of Energy and Starlight's Light Emission and Energy Absorption had merged, unified as: Absorption and Release of Energy.
Five minutes later, Su Quan paid and walked out of the coffee shop, then teleported to the Void in a nearby secluded alley.
"Huh?"
"Did I just fall into a pile of Lokis?"
The moment Su Quan appeared, he found himself surrounded by layers of 'Lokis' in all sorts of shapes and outfits.
President Loki, wearing a crown of antlers, a suit, a green vest, and a tie, pushed through the others, stepped up to Su Quan, raised his head arrogantly, and spread his arms: "Welcome to my kingdom. I am the king here—Loki!"
"I'm the king here," some other Loki muttered resentfully, undermining him.
"No, I'm the king."
"Bullshit, I'm the king."
"The king is mine. Don't any of you try to take it from me."
"..."
Truly, a full set of betrayers!
Before Su Quan could even speak, they were already tearing each other down, betraying one another.
You don't accept me, I don't accept you—arguing back and forth, they even looked like they were about to throw hands.
This wave, every single Loki thought the advantage was theirs.
"Shhk—"
In the chaos, no one knew which Loki couldn't hold back and quietly stabbed another Loki.
The stabbed Loki stared in disbelief, then swung around and stabbed a Loki who was just watching the show.
"You sneak attack! You can't play fair! You little piece of trash! You've got no skill! You don't even dare face me head-on! What kind of game are you playing?!"
The watching Loki cursed while copying the move, targeting other bystanders—why should he be the only one getting stabbed?
Su Quan hadn't said a word, and the whole scene had already gone to hell, making his scalp tingle.
Talents!
Every damn one of them was a talent!
Watching the Lokis indiscriminately slaughter each other, Su Quan had every reason to suspect this was their standard 'welcoming ceremony.'
Yeah, just routine, nothing to see here!
"Enough!"
Seeing more and more Lokis lying down, President Loki finally shouted, stepping in to salvage the situation and stop this farce.

Dead silence. Everyone froze in place, not moving a muscle, the whole scene like someone had hit the pause button—completely still!
President Loki smirked triumphantly.
See that?
That's my authority!
That's my dominance!
I'm the true ki—
"Shhk!"
The sound of a weapon piercing flesh cut through the silence, jarring and sharp.
President Loki, who had been smug for only a few seconds, turned toward the noise and roared furiously at a Loki who had just stabbed another Loki to death.
"Didn't you hear me say enough?!"
