Killer Loki leisurely withdrew his weapon. "I heard you. My hand slipped."
President Loki stared coldly at him as he walked over. A dagger suddenly appeared, its blade glinting coldly. With a swift motion, the arm Killer Loki used to hold his weapon was severed and fell to the ground.
"Hand slipped? Then I'll just cut it off!"
There it was—the Marvel severed-hand trope!
Su Quan realized that 'Loki' was like a box of chocolates; you never knew what flavor you'd get next.
Who would've thought a proper 'welcoming ceremony' would turn into a bloody infighting farce?
Who would've guessed that President Loki cut off Killer Loki's hand, and in the near future, another Loki—Crocodile Loki—might bite off his hand?
Truly, the wheel of karma turns, and heaven shows no mercy!
When others fall in love, they go for the opposite sex or someone in the same field. Not Loki—he goes for himself!
In Loki's solo series, you'd expect Male Loki and Female Loki to scheme against each other, plot betrayals and counter-betrayals. Instead, we got nothing. Two Lokis wrapped in a blanket, and they actually started dating!
At least Female Loki pulled a 'kiss is kiss, love is love, but when it counts, a kick's enough' and betrayed him, salvaging a bit of 'Loki's' image!
Back in the day, the rookie Loki controlled the Asgardian weapon Destroyer, wreaking havoc, vowing to kill Thor, leading the Chitauri army to invade Earth, and running circles around Earth's superheroes.
Now look at him—
Damn, he's just a goofy kid, all dignity gone!
President Loki scanned the crowd like an eagle eyeing its prey. Seeing no one dared challenge him, he Turned Head and fixed his gaze on Su Quan.
"What are you laughing at? Kneel and pay homage to your king!"
Su Quan held back his laughter and nodded earnestly in agreement. "You're right!"
Paying homage to a king, right? When Bruce Banner went to Wakanda, he almost knelt to Black Panther.
So, President Loki wasn't wrong.
But—
If it's not wrong, then kneel already!
President Loki's brow furrowed. "I said—kneel and pay homage to your king!"
"Right, you're right!"
Su Quan nodded seriously in agreement.
"I'm telling you to kneel and pay homage to your king, which is me—uh—"
President Loki's fierce warning was cut short as his body uncontrollably dropped to his knees with a thud.
Who am I?
Where am I?
What am I doing?
President Loki's eyes widened in disbelief. He felt an invisible force enveloping him, rendering him completely immobile.
You said it—kneel and pay homage to your king!
I personally agree. Yeah, you're right. I am your king, so—kneel!
"One person's joy," Su Quan said, "isn't as good as everyone's joy. You all kneel too."
He looked at the other Lokis, raising his hand to control their magnetic fields.
"Thud!"
All the Lokis dropped to their knees in perfect unison.
"Damn it, what did you do to me?—No, it's Elios! Let me go, now, if you don't want to die!"
President Loki's anger turned to terror the moment he spotted Elios in the distance. His face panicked, he shouted and struggled frantically.
The other Lokis were the same. Seeing Elios was like mice spotting a cat. Their voices twisted in fear, threatening, begging, or explaining as they tried to make Su Quan release them.
"Isn't this your domain? Why are you afraid of it?" Su Quan asked casually, as if he had no idea how dangerous Elios was, teasing President Loki.
"It's different!"
President Loki roared. "It's a living storm! Anything that enters here—matter or energy—gets devoured. It's the Reaper of the Void, an unbeatable existence. Let me go, now! I don't want to die because of you!"
"I don't think so."
Su Quan turned to face Elios.
If anyone in the Void shouldn't fear it, it's definitely 'Loki.' After all, Female Loki might be the only Time Criminal pruned here who actually controlled Elios.
Female Loki's Possession Magic is a type of Psychic Ability. She's a Loki, the Main Timeline's Loki is a Loki, President Loki and the other Rookie Lokis are Lokis too. In theory, they should all have this ability.
Just like in the show, where Female Loki helped the Main Timeline's Loki activate this ability, and they worked together to possess Elios.
Unfortunately, aside from Female Loki, none of the Lokis in the Void—not even the true First Sorcerer of the Nine Realms, Old Loki—had this skill. It's mostly illusion-type magic.
Guess the Lokis each have their own specialties!

"Between life and death lies great terror. The Main Timeline's Loki only grasped Possession Magic when Elios killed Old Loki and turned to finish him and Female Loki."
With so many Lokis here, should he try using Elios on them? Maybe someone could succeed?
None of these Lokis, including President Loki, impressed Su Quan. Keeping them around meant they might stir up trouble vying for his throne at any moment. Better to give it a shot.
Su Quan felt tempted but ultimately gave up.
There was no Female Loki!
Though the Main Timeline Loki succeeded in a do-or-die crisis, the power of love played a crucial role too!
When Female Loki held his hand, he must have sensed through her how to use Possession Magic or some of its principles. Because he fully opened himself to her, he managed to pull it off at the critical moment.
Without Female Loki as a teacher now, these useless Lokis had too low a success rate. He'd keep them as laborers instead.
Blotting out the sky, rolling dark clouds, dust flying, rocks tumbling—
Elios was getting closer.
Purple lightning flickered. The wind blowing in made the Lokis squint and shut their mouths, their faces pale.
"Such an oppressive presence."
This was Su Quan's first time facing Elios head-on.
President Loki calling it the Reaper of the Void was spot on. Its approach felt like death drawing near, crushing and despairing.
Su Quan stared unblinkingly at Elios, unleashing his Psychic Abilities with a bang.
"Buzz!"
The invisible force invaded the cloud-like storm of its body.
Success, or failure?
In the comics, Elios was a cross-temporal entity existing across different timelines, capable of massive time disturbances and damage to the overall time dimension.
It could expand to attack targets, absorbing their bodies into itself to increase its size and strength. Once it occupied a point in time, it would spread to devour adjacent time realities. It also negated time abilities, preventing time energy from crossing to the End of Time before its existence.
In other words, you couldn't travel back to before it existed to destroy or change it.
It was the first creature to break free from time's limits!
Its empire dwarfed Kang the Conqueror's, spanning billions of years until humans appeared on Earth.
Because of it, Kang the Conqueror never tried expanding his empire into earlier eras. He even created a Time Barrier to keep it out of his domain.
After Kang the Conqueror died, someone accidentally released Elios, threatening the territories he once ruled and other time domains across the timeline.
Notably, the one who freed Elios was called The Terminator. Her true identity was Ravonna, the one Kang the Conqueror admired.
In the TV version, she was the current judge of the Time Variance Authority.
To fight Elios, The Terminator and her future self, 'Apocalypse,' resurrected Kang, providing the 'Time-Space Key' to counter Elios: a time creature from a Parallel World called Chronos, locking them in an eternal battle.
This Elios didn't have that much history with Kang the Conqueror. Maybe it wasn't time yet.
After The Variant was killed by Female Loki, the Time Variance Authority changed instantly, and Kang the Conqueror came online.
Now, it wasn't yet Kang the Conqueror's era!
Why didn't Su Quan just storm the Time Variance Authority?
The biggest reason was that killing them now was useless. As long as The Variant pulled the strings from behind the scenes, they'd reappear instantly.
To control the Time Variance Authority, he first needed enough hands to monitor the timeline and keep it running—in other words, to replace The Variant.
But the moment The Variant died, all the Kangs would immediately decide the outcome of the new Multiverse War. That meant Kang the Conqueror would come online instantly and launch an attack.
Su Quan didn't want to waste time and energy on Kang the Conqueror and the other Kangs.
