To secure the outside, one must first stabilize the inside.

Without a sufficiently strong foundation, there's no need to launch an attack on the Time Variance Authority.

So Su Quan operated Nato Tong in the outside world, setting his sights on Madripoor.

He planned to develop his forces and cultivate a Super Soldier Legion right under the noses of the Time Variance Authority, or rather, the Sacred Timeline.

It wasn't cowardice, nor was it fear of fighting—it was simply unnecessary.

Once you already know how to win, you naturally don't want to waste time on trivial details.

Back to the point.

Controlling Elios was the key to fully mastering the Void, and mastering the Void was the foundation for controlling the Time Variance Authority—

So Su Quan didn't even bother to listen to what reward the system drop notification was, nor did he feel any change in himself. He focused all his energy on launching wave after wave of invasion against Elios.

"Hey—I can move!"

President Loki, who had been ashen-faced, suddenly lit up with secret delight as he found himself free again.

"Some people just don't know when to quit. That's Elios!"

Muttering a silent complaint, President Loki turned to look at Elios, ready to bolt.

But what he saw stunned him.

That guy wasn't dead?

Wait!

Elios seemed to have stopped—he... he could actually make Elios stop?

President Loki's eyes narrowed, his gaze dark and calculating as he stared at that figure, lost in thought.

"Stalemate, huh..."

If he defeats or controls Elios, won't I be under his thumb forever?

I'm the king!

Kill him!

As long as he's dead, no one can threaten my rule or my throne, and everything will return to normal.

Even if I still have to face Elios's threat, I can thrive like before, ruling and dominating.

Now is the best chance!

President Loki slowly rose, quietly gripping two daggers, ready to unleash his signature move: backstab!

But other Lokis had the same idea, and some were even faster.

"Die!"

A Loki gripped a spear with both hands and thrust it straight at the guy's lower back.

"This idiot!"

President Loki cursed inwardly.

If that guy dies, Elios will have no opponent left—it definitely won't let them go!

"Hm?"

Su Quan, fully focused on dealing with Elios, suddenly felt a very faint surge of energy welling up inside him.

Then, the system notification sounded.

"Ding!"

"Combat detected. Drop reward: Disease Immunity (Loki)."

Behind him.

The spear-wielding Loki stared at the spear tip, just an inch from the guy's lower back but unable to get any closer. Unconvinced, he pulled it back and thrust again with all his might, as if determined to skewer his kidney or die trying!

Here it comes again.

Su Quan once again felt a faint surge of energy inside him—this was the energy absorbed by Absorption and Release of Energy.

Frowning, he turned his head, and a blazing Heat Vision beam directly pierced the skull of the Loki who had tried to backstab him.

"Thud!"

The Loki hit the ground, accompanied by the sizzling sound of burning.

Not far away, the other Rookie Lokis scattered in all directions, but the monk may run away, but the temple stays. In the Void, where could they go?

His crimson eyes locked onto President Loki, who hadn't managed to flee yet. President Loki's expression froze, and he forced out an awkward, ugly smile.

With a thud, he knelt!

Alright, you've got it—you really can stand tall and kneel low!

Su Quan retracted his Heat Vision and turned to continue his assault on Alioth. He had a feeling Alioth couldn't hold out much longer.

"Boom!"

The dam burst, flooding everything in its path.

Su Quan had racked his brains and tirelessly pressed the attack, finally breaking through.

When you can enter with ease, you should understand—it's not that you're impressive, but that others have already paved the way for you. What I admire isn't the digger, but those fearless pathfinders.

Su Quan's efforts weren't wasted. Alioth's psychic core was vast and fought back fiercely, trying to expel his Psychic Power.

With no time to dwell on the unknown past buried in Alioth's memories, Su Quan quickly seized control of its mind, plunging it into an unconscious slumber.

At the same time, he forcibly rewrote its memories, ensuring it would obey only his commands from now on.

"Done!"

With everything settled, Su Quan clenched his fist in excitement, ready to find President Loki and share the joy.

Joy shared is joy doubled, after all!

What?

You say he wasn't joyful? What's that got to do with me?

Turning around, Su Quan didn't see even a trace of President Loki. Guess that's a Loki for you—top-notch survival instincts!

Too bad he missed out on this chance to share the joy. Probably won't get another opportunity to be happy anytime soon.

Under the gloomy, dark sky, Su Quan strolled leisurely ahead, while Alioth, once a symbol of death, obediently followed behind him.

The scene was like a king parading with his monster through his domain—both eerie and harmonious.

Gold and silver trinkets, controlled by his magnetic field, flew out from hidden corners, floating around Su Quan as he moved.

Su Quan opened the system. The Lokis' chaotic slaughter and his battle with Alioth had dropped plenty of combat rewards.

He was just 16 Points short of upgrading the detection range for battles again.

Super Strength, Super Endurance, Super Defense, Cold Immunity, Super Vitality, and Regeneration—all these basic abilities had improved to varying degrees.

He had gained four new abilities.

Disease Immunity, Virus Immunity, Energy Projection, and Negate Time.

Disease Immunity and Virus Immunity were self-explanatory—immunity to all diseases and viruses. Energy Projection was just standard Magic Energy attacks. These were all considered standard Loki abilities.

Negate Time, though, was worth discussing.

Alioth's two core abilities were absorbing all kinds of energy and matter, and Negate Time!

The power of Negate Time lay in its ability to prevent Time Energy from traveling back to the End of Time before its existence. In other words, no one could travel to a point before it existed to destroy or change it.

Simply put, no time traveler or member of the Time Variance Authority could alter Su Quan through time.

He was an absolute, fixed existence. His future could be changed, but not his past.

Take the Time Variance Authority as an example: Time Guardians could prune him, but they couldn't change him by resetting the timeline.

If there were ten people beside Su Quan when the timeline was reset, those ten would be pruned as Time Branches. After the reset, they would continue living their predetermined lives as they were before the branch appeared.

But Su Quan wouldn't.

With the Negate Time ability, it was impossible for the Time Variance Authority or anyone else to travel through time and use past timelines to influence the present Su Quan.

Likewise, the Time Variance Authority couldn't sneakily prune and reset the Time Branches connected to him, creating a bunch of "Su Quans" from different timelines.

Not only that.

If he were to conquer the Time Variance Authority now, even if The Variant stepped in or Kang the Conqueror came online, they couldn't change the outcome.
