Su Quan ordered someone to bring over the 'girlfriend' Ward Meachum had mentioned.

The Iron Fist wasn't exactly trending, but both leading ladies were beautiful and capable.

Colleen Wing, the female lead, was half-Chinese, half-Japanese, and a disciple of Bakuto, one of The Hand's Five Fingers.

She had strong reconnaissance, tracking, and combat skills, and her usual weapon was a katana.

The other female lead, Joy Meachum, had no combat skills but was highly talented in daily corporate operations and management.

Beautiful face, long legs.

Capable and good-looking—hard not to stand out.

"Ding!"

"Combat detected. Dropped reward: Super Soldier Serum (Winter Soldier)."

The sudden combat drop reward caught Su Quan off guard.

Not because the Winter Soldier was fighting someone, but because only the Winter Soldier's drop reward appeared.

"Is the other party outside the system's combat detection range?"

That was the only possibility Su Quan could think of.

He'd earned plenty of Points from farming the serum, just enough to upgrade, so the current detection range was 300 meters.

That meant the attack on the Winter Soldier came from beyond 300 meters.

He released his Psychic Abilities, instantly linking all Winter Soldiers.

Through their perspectives, Su Quan quickly saw what was happening outside.

An unidentified armed force had surrounded the dock.

From their weapons, fire positions, and the sniper who'd just shot at the Winter Soldier—

It was obvious these people were well-trained and had a clear objective.

Not The Hand's people.

So it was another faction in Madripoor, tipped off by Silver Sable and the Wild Pack's leaked info, looking to steal the prize.

"Rat-tat-tat—rat-tat-tat—"

Gunfire erupted outside. Several firing points targeted the Winter Soldiers' positions on the cargo ship with relentless suppression.

The heavy fire pinned the Winter Soldiers down, unable to fight back.

"Bang—"

A sniper in the shadows forced the Black Winter Soldier back as he tried to peek out.

"Clatter—"

Several smoke grenades rolled out. Thick white smoke spread quickly, blocking the view from the cargo ship.

A fully armed, well-equipped squad crouched low, slipped into the smoke, and rapidly closed in on the ship, preparing to board.

"Ding!"

"Combat detected..."

"Ding!"

"Combat detected..."

"Ding!"

"Combat detected..."

"Ding!"

"..."

The dense cascade of drop notifications rattled Su Quan's head.

Every time someone shoots the Winter Soldier, both the shooter and the Soldier drop rewards.

The Winter Soldiers occasionally drop Super Soldier Serum, but the opposing side is all Points.

This method of farming Points and serum is wildly efficient.

What's even wilder is that Su Quan used his Psychic Abilities to scan a guy lurking in the smoke, ready to sneak onto the cargo ship, and learned his identity.

He never expected it.

Su Quan truly never expected it.

This well-equipped little squad turned out to be Hydra!

Truly worthy of the organization that's everywhere—if you can't find the enemy, just suspect Hydra and you're probably right!

Su Quan pieced together the whole story from the guy's memories.

The waters are too deep; ordinary people really can't handle this!

In simple terms, Su Quan and his people were accidental disruptors who stumbled into this mess.

The whole scene today started because The Hand wanted to stage an accident to kill Ward Meachum and Joy Meachum here.

But how could they kill them in a way that seemed reasonable and left no room for suspicion?

Capture people!

They specifically picked people who looked tough to mess with, then leaked the info so others would know their captives were on Rand Corporation's ship.

That way, they could lure in anyone seeking revenge.

The ideal scenario was a firefight, with the ship getting seized and a few people killed.

If no one died, that was fine too—The Hand's planted people would handle the killing, and Ward Meachum and Joy Meachum would definitely be among the victims.

Unfortunately, plans never survive reality.

The guys tasked with baiting targets never expected that the Dotty Underwood they deliberately provoked had Su Quan as her backing.

He traced the clues back to The Hand, then directly butted in and seized Rand Corporation's ship.

What do you do when someone steals your script?

Steal it back!

To ensure the targets would definitely die in the chaos, the Hand operative in charge of this operation, after assessing the situation, urgently picked an easily fooled faction to manipulate.

It wouldn't have been so easy, or at least not so fast, to fool them.

But then Silver Sable and the Wild Pack spread Su Quan's words.

Hearing that, they were in!

What the hell is the Thirteen Court Guard Squads? Never heard of them!

When two tigers fight, one is sure to get hurt!

Even if the Thirteen Court Guard Squads win, they'll take heavy losses. Why not swoop in for the spoils now?

Seize the docks, and even if The Hand ultimately wins, they can always hand it back.

A move with both advance and retreat, reaping all the benefits—truly clever as hell!

Hydra's forces in Madripoor keep a low profile, never flying their flag and rarely making a move.

So how did they get involved?

For that, we have to thank that easily fooled faction leader who thought he was so clever.

He had a bright idea and decided to find a partner!
