"So you're Lamplighter, can't make fire, only control it, and you're not even fireproof yourself..."
"With strength like that, how on earth did you join The Seven in the first place?"
Su Quan looked at Lamplighter, who had been sent over by Storm, unable to figure out how he had ever managed to sneak into The Seven.
The members of The Seven varied in strength, but each had unique traits; even though the weakest among them, The Deep, was not too bright and was utterly useless on land, his ability to communicate with and control marine life was enough to make him the undisputed number one underwater.
If he remembered correctly, he even held the title of King of the Seven Seas.
And what about Lamplighter?
His ability was essentially a downgraded version of the mutant Human Torch next door.
Both could only control fire, but at least Human Torch had a certain degree of fire resistance, whereas Lamplighter simply didn't.
Not being able to generate fire in the first place was a major flaw, and lacking fire resistance made it terribly easy to crash and burn.
Lamplighter's expression looked rather ugly. Understandable—he was, after all, a former member of The Seven, yet now his abilities were being called weak and unworthy of membership. Put anyone in his shoes, and they would be pissed off.
However, Storm had given him a stern warning, telling him to obey any and all commands from Su Quan unconditionally, so even though he was pissed, he had just stomach it.
"Bang!"
Su Quan opened his palm, rubbed two fingers together lightly, and in an instant, a ball of flame popped out from his fingertips.
Lamplighter was slightly taken aback, and the next moment, he saw Su Quan wave his hand and push the flame
