A desolate frontier.
A group of staff members in white uniforms were waiting for something, each with a solemn expression. Soon, a heavily armed armored vehicle slowly floated in the distance.
"Hard work."
Several staff members went to receive them.
Inside the armored vehicle, a transparent glass-enclosed object was moved out. It was something shimmering with a pale golden glow, very small, looking more like a corner of a broken item.
"Has it been archived?"
"Mm."
"Be careful."
"Understood."
They placed this thing onto the suspension equipment, trying their best to keep it balanced.
"Unknown energy."
"Unknown category."
"Unable to analyze."
"Given our current technological level, research is not recommended; sealing is advised."
The newcomer brought the submitted report.
"Understood."
The staff member nodded slightly. He opened the light screen, scanned and entered all this data, and then cautiously pushed the suspension equipment back.
Hum--
The suspension equipment floated gently.
Carrying that thing, it slowly left, floating into a town not far away.
Along the way.
The gazes of all staff members swept past gently, watching the suspension equipment steadily step into the depths of the town. There, countless identical things were suspended!
"Number 1024."
"Item registered, entry completed."
The cold mechanical voice sounded.
"Done."
Those staff members breathed a sigh of relief.
Finally...
Another thing was sealed.
The appearance of that so-called pink power a few days ago had left them quite terrified, and made them truly understand just how terrifying the things sealed here were!
Even though the things here were only fragments!
Even though the things here were all incomplete!
Their job was to send these fragments back here one by one, seal them up, and wait for the day when humanity had the qualifications to come and study them again.
Only.
What they did not know
