The New Year Has Ended~

Today I am getting ready to take the train back.

The long-awaited New Year has finally ended, and although being with my parents was very happy, what left the deepest impression was that unique scent of the New Year back in my hometown.

For instance—

The sound of firecrackers ringing out every day, and damn it, even in the middle of the night!

The omnipresent cries of stray cats, did they really have to call out so diligently now that spring is arriving?!

The three-wheelers roaring past by the side of the road, making it feel like even my dreams were vibrating while I slept...

Relatives making sudden appearances...

And a layer of fat grown in a circle around my belly.
