Background
As Xiao Yuan, Luo Yuan was celebrated as the “Star of Tomorrow” and humanity’s future. Despite his growing fame and strength, he was initially shy and sincere with the flower-selling girl he loved, carefully paying for a flower before giving it to her. 836
Political pressure forced him toward an arranged engagement, while his first love ultimately died by suicide. Devastated, he crippled himself and withdrew from the world; after learning more about her death, he returned with vengeance in mind. 836
Luo Yuan later founded Storm Technology and developed his Replication ability through Wristband Communicators. The communicators let him collect the realizations and growth of connected users’ abilities without revealing his true purpose. 843
Personality
Luo Yuan’s early life was shaped by grief, resentment, and a belief that gifted people were treated as puppets by the powerful. Although he punished the families involved in his tragedy, he claimed his true hatred was directed at the system and elders who controlled everyone from behind the scenes. 838
After returning, he became authoritarian and ruthless, treating resistance as grounds for execution and using mass control to establish his rule. His obsession with controlling the world—and with obtaining the Misfortune God Position—gradually drove him toward paranoia, brutality, and increasingly desperate actions. 839 854 855
He considers himself the “protagonist” of his own story and deliberately used the Luck Aura to grant himself the advantages he associated with one. This self-image contributed to his confidence, but also to his tendency to underestimate Chen Feng’s planning. 845

Ability Synchronization

- Maintained high-level versions of countless abilities by synchronizing with their users’ progress. 845 846
- Enabled him to draw upon the abilities of billions of connected beings. 846

- Luo Yuan later expended numerous clones as shields against the Magic Mirror’s Truth attacks. 900
