"Damn it!"
The Bomb Maker viciously stomped twice on the phone he had thrown to the ground.
Before he could finish venting his fury—
Footsteps suddenly sounded behind him.
"Even if you curse your mother out, the bomb still won't explode."
"What?!"
The Bomb Maker turned around and saw a group of people walking toward him.
A number of burly plainclothes officers approached from all sides and surrounded him.
"Give up!"
Juzo Megure stood with his hands behind his back. "The bomb you planted at Teitan High School has already been dismantled."
"How is that possible?!"
The Bomb Maker turned back, his face stiffening. "He clearly dismantled the bomb, so how could he still see the prompt?!"
The Bomb Maker gritted his teeth and shouted, "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
"Hmph, nothing is impossible."
Juzo Megure snorted coldly, his expression darkening as he looked at the man before him.
He could understand this Bomb Maker's breakdown. All he could say was, too bad the man had run into little brother Fujino.
My little brother is both wise and brave, skilled in both letters and arms.
He can fly planes when needed and crush criminal organizations when it comes down to it.
And dismantling a bomb that displayed prompts was just basic stuff, wasn't it?
All he could say was that it was no challenge for him at all!
After a pause, he continued, "But this time, we weren't the only ones watching you. The person who dismantled your bomb was someone else."
As he spoke, he pulled a black-and-gold card from his pocket, bearing the image of a bat. "Before we arrived, this person had already discovered your bomb and dismantled it."
"Be... Beika Batman?!"
The Bomb Maker stared at the bat card, stunned.
Cold sweat immediately began pouring down his back.
