Secret Technique: Cherry Blossom Blizzard

Fujino took a deep breath, feeling his heart beat. He closed his eyes and quietly sensed the unfamiliar world around him.

Gradually, a faint aura spread from around his body. Like an invisible, transparent current of dark water, it flowed down his body, wrapping around him and staining the surrounding grass.

Suddenly, an evening breeze swept through. The emerald-green grass around them swayed in the wind, and wherever that aura passed, the blades of grass seemed to bend beneath its invisible pressure...

"Are you finally getting serious?"

Kyogoku Makoto stared at Fujino in the distance as his presence continued to surge, immediately feeling as though he faced a formidable enemy.

That aura, like a pool of stagnant water, was mixed with killing intent, hatred, all kinds of sorrow, and despair. Its bone-chilling pressure made even him feel a trace of fear.

Yet his iron will kept him from being affected by that presence. Instead, he guessed that the man before him had not used his full strength during their earlier exchange—he had been hiding his power...

The sleeves of his karate uniform rubbed against the air, producing a series of explosive cracks.

A transparent, invisible red glow gradually appeared over the surface of his body.

"Come on. You attack first this time!"

Fujino slowly opened his eyes and swung the Wooden Sword in his hand, assuming a defensive stance. His pitch-black eyes were dim and lifeless, yet a sharp, oppressive force radiated from them.

"Fine!"

Kyogoku Makoto answered, rushing forward before leaping up and launching a high roundhouse kick at Fujino's head.
