"No..."
Fujino unwrapped the envelope, taking out the invitation card and letter inside. "It's just an invitation to a Halloween party, and it even addressed me by name. Look at what it says here about a Halloween bloody ghost ship—seems like some sort of provocative invitation."
Hearing this, the Nana Sisters said in unison, "A Halloween party invitation... isn't Halloween still a long way off?"
"It already says 'An Untimely Halloween Party' right here."
Fujino glanced at the invitation. "As for the time..."
"Looks like it's supposed to be tomorrow."
Ai Haibara walked over and took a quick look. True to her role as the Time-Reporting Princess, she diligently pointed out how far the date on the letter was from the present.
Akemi Miyano turned to Fujino and asked, "Are you going?"
"Since they've come looking for me, of course I'm going."
Fujino replied, then muttered softly to himself, "Though the timing is a bit rushed, luckily I know a thing or two about makeup skills. It shouldn't be a problem."
"Anyway, since it's a party and all, you guys might as well come along with me for some fun."
"After all, it says right here that besides wearing formal black attire, we also need to bring a companion. I don't know what the purpose is, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
Ai Haibara listened in silence, her brow furrowing slightly as she looked at the envelope.

Professor Agasa received a letter, and the addressee written on it was Kudo Shinichi.
Professor Agasa figured that since it was for Kudo Shinichi, he ought to let Conan know.
