Clever Xiao Ai had long since seen through the secret of the treasure hidden in the code, as well as what it meant to lure out the thief.
She teased, "So, did a certain detective see the part about luring out a cunning thief, fail to restrain his competitive spirit, and decide to drag everyone into danger with him?"

Genta was somewhat baffled and asked, "Hey, so what does that cunning thief thing mean?"

Ai Haibara lowered her gaze. "I doubt it could be anyone other than Kaito Kid. Besides, his targets are often jewels. Given his personality, he certainly has a motive to come here looking for treasure."
Conan picked up the thread. "And the so-called treasure corresponds to the words 'King's Stone' written on the stone we found earlier. King refers to the guardian deity, and King's Stone naturally means diamond stone. And diamonds are, of course, the king of gems."
