Lin Yun fused the Emerald Dragon King’s Dragon Core, broke through to Soul Douluo, and assembled Soul Hall for the Soul Fighting Competition. In Radiant City, he advanced his own plans, sold the Star Luo Empire on a deal for powerful Soul Tools, and waited for its payment.

• Lin Yun trained against powerful Soul Beasts until the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings warned that battle was consuming him, then he used the Emerald Dragon King’s Dragon Core to forge a divine Soul Ring and condense two Soul Cores.
• Lin Yun tested his new strength against Di Tian, while Tang San restored Wang Dong’er as Tang Wutong using the Lovesick Heartbreak Red and Shrek struggled to rebuild its team.
• Lin Yun recruited former Shrek students and other contestants into Soul Hall, trained them, and led them to Radiant City for the tournament.
• Lin Yun secured better lodging for Soul Hall, and the teams began the competition as he recognized Tang Ya leading the Holy Spirit Cult and Beibei sensed a connection to her.

Shrek’s tournament run ended in the deaths of Beibei and Jiang Nannan, while Lin Yun’s Soul Hall advanced and the Sun Moon Empire began preparing for war. Lin Yun then traveled to the Ice Sea to hunt his eighth Soul Ring, where his bait drew out the Sea Princess and his group cut her off from the sea’s power.

• The Holy Spirit Cult slaughtered the Mingyu Sect team, and Beibei learned that it had captured Tang Ya and turned her into an Evil Soul Master.
• Beibei fought through the Holy Spirit Cult’s tournament team to face Tang Ya, but she pierced his chest, killed him, and devoured his body.
• Shrek fought the Holy Spirit Cult in a team battle, losing Jiang Nannan and other students before Xu Sanshi and Tang Wutong defeated Yan Feng and wiped out the cult’s team.
• Shrek withdrew from the tournament, while Zhongli Wu resumed modifying Tang Ya and trapped Beibei’s soul inside her Spirit Sea.
• Lin Yun’s Soul Hall defeated Earth Dragon Gate, and Lin Yun later overwhelmed Dou Ling Academy before Xu Tianran detained tournament teams and sealed Radiant City to begin his war plans.

• Lin Yun killed the Sea Princess and her clan, absorbed her Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, and used the gathered spoils to strengthen his Soul Rings and become a Divine Body.
• Ning Zhirou sold Xu Jiawei ninety-nine Level 8 Fixed Soul Cannon Shells, which Dai Hao used against the Sun Moon Empire before a Level 9 shell devastated the Star Luo Empire’s soul master corps.
