After receiving Yun Xi’s confession and cultivating with True Dragon Essence Blood, he set out with Jian Ruyu to investigate a suspected Undying Sword Sect ruin in Yuan Zhou.

• Lu Yi broke through to the Golden Core Realm, then traveled to the Sword Dao Assembly, where he defeated sword cultivators and condensed his Sword Dao Domain while studying the Divine Sword Monument.
• Lu Yi returned to the White Cloud Sect and defeated the Heavenly Dragon Saint and hostile Spirit Transformation cultivators, helping the White Cloud Sect expand its alliance as five enemy sects sealed their mountains.
• Lu Yi reached the Golden Core Realm’s limit, condensed a seven-colored Nascent Soul, and endured a destructive lightning tribulation that spread insights among nearby cultivators.

As the sea race’s invasion spread toward Azure Province, he set out to build protective formations for allied sects and encountered widespread banditry.

• Lu Yi defeated the Heavenly Dragon Saint, explored the ruins with the Divine Sword Sect and Supreme Emperor Sword Sect, and received the complete Undying Sword Scripture from the young man who took back the Undying Sword.
• Lu Yi returned to the White Cloud Sect, escaped an attack by Heaven Origin Sect cultivators, and reunited with his sect and master.
• Lu Yi spent years cultivating, then led Liu Ningshuang, Donggong Mingyue, and Yun Xi against the Blood Spirit Sect and killed its Old Ancestor with a Six Yang True Fire Talisman.
• Lu Yi claimed the Blood Spirit Sect’s treasures, identified the Blood Jade sapling as a Rakshasa Ancient Tree, and advanced to the limit of the Nascent Soul Realm.

Lu Yi strengthened allied sects and cities while advancing his cultivation, and he reunited with Yun Xi before traveling with her toward the Sea Race war. The arc ended as the Sea Race army approached Dongming City, whose defenses Lu Yi had reinforced.

• Lu Yi built a star-filled grand formation for the Ten Thousand Flowers Sect, then used it to kill Luo Tianyang and four Integrated Body Great Talents who entered the sect.
• Lu Yi built protective formations for Winter Valley, Sword Inquiry Villa, and the White Cloud Sect as the Sea Race war spread across Azure Province.
• Lu Yi defeated Long Aotian in a body-cultivation contest, then remained at the White Cloud Sect while his senior brothers and sisters left to fight the Sea Race.

• Lu Yi and Yun Xi helped defend Dongming City, where Lu Yi’s formations and his alliance with Yue Bumian helped defeat Mo Ming and drive back the Sea Race forces.
• Lu Yi reunited with Jiang Fan and his other companions at Flying Cloud Stream, then traveled with Yun Xi, Liu Ningshuang, and Jian Ruyu as their cultivation advanced.
• Lu Yi led his companions into Sea Race territory, killed powerful cultivators, and used the Minor Deduction Art to locate Mist Island, where a strange black mist afflicted the women.
